"Think of it like a group hug deck for people who don't like to be touched."-Cameron Lauder

My take on Oloro. A very war-of-attrition type of deck. When this lockout engine goes into effect, it's one that opponents won't enjoy one bit. Between the fact that only two creatures can attack you each go-around (Thanks Crawlspace ), the fact that opponents have to pay 8 mana to have that even happen (Jah bless Propaganda and Ghostly Prison ), the pain of top-decking something they love, only to have to pay for it because of Smothering Tithe , and then the tax of Rhystic Study on top of that to play it, only to have it enter tapped (assuming it's a creature or artifact), playing cards is a real pain-in-the-rear-end.

And then there is the lifegain. Oh, the lifegain. Sanguine Bond ensures that the life is essentially coming from your opponent, and thanks to Alhammarret's Archive , it's twice as much life. And it can be used in so many wonderful ways! Maybe you want to feed card advantage engines like Phyrexian Arena or Greed . Or maybe you'd like to get a creature back from the graveyard with Phyrexian Reclamation (gosh dang do I love those nasty metal goobers!) and then get another one with Phyrexian Delver thanks to the blinktastic wonders of Triad of Fates ! Or maybe you'd just love to see Vona, Butcher of Magan go off and just put the hurt on some permanents.

But wait! With all those life costs, what are you to do with your free mana? Mana not spent each turn is mana wasted, to be honest. Especially since Smothering Tithe with give you so much of it for so little! Well, how about pumping it all into one enormous Death Grasp targeting your opponent? That's always fun. And thanks to Elixir of Immortality , you can shuffle it back into your library and then tutor for it with Razaketh, the Foulblooded ! What value! Such suspense! Those sounds you hear right now? Every opponent who plays this deck is weeping for their lost innocence.

But wait! Your creatures! What can they do? Well, they sure can get you lots of +1/+1 counters... and then defend you to the death. Or in the case of Karlov of the Ghost Council and the aforementioned Vona, they can exist as spot removal.

I'm not gonna lie, I felt like a real jerk making this deck, especially considering that EDH is supposed to be such a friendly format. Fun fact, this deck is named after a Coroner album that I very much love. So go have fun!
