What does this do? you ask. Well, big dumb stuff. When I sat down to brew this deck I was very excited to have the advantage of mana production on my commander, but then the realization hits about the difficuties of playing a creature centric deck with little to no interaction in a format like commander. This causes a few problems 1). How can this deck be taken seriously? and 2). What creatures can mimic the noncreature spells so often nessasary in EDH? Well there are certianly a few cards that can impact play and others that can mimic noncreature spells, so ofcourse I must ask "Why not both?" Those dang counter spells getting in the way? Try Prowling Serpopard Nullstone Gargoyle and Ruric Thar, the Unbowed Spot removal being a danger? Prevent it and take advantage if it with Archetype of Endurance Temur Sabertooth Scavenging Ooze and Genesis Too many artifacts littering the field? Clean them up with Reclamation Sage Manglehorn Steelbane Hydra and Treasure Nabber Need some removal of your own? Keep danger at bay with Captivating Crew Crater Hellion Apex Altisaur and Ulvenwald Tracker . There is a menagerie of creatures included that are ramp and big finishers, as well as a plethora of creatures that draw cards. There is no doubt a host of cards I would love to put in, but slots are limited so have fun with your own build while you retake the wilds.
