I designed this deck because I wanted to move away from my usual Esper / Grixis decks. I've never had a lot of sucess with decks that do not use blue previously - I wanted to also challenge myself to make a deck which did not rely on the tutor-safety provided by black.

This deck is entirely built around legendary creatures. Some key combinations include Karametra, God of Harvests with Captain Sisay (bringing out creautres to then dump basic lands), and then throwing in Reki, the History of Kamigawa to allow card draw off the summoning of legendary spells. The three angels Avacyn, Angel of Hope, Sigarda, Heron's Grace and Sigarda, Host of Herons are intended to provide a level of protection for all other creatures and permanents on the field (a friend of mine plays an Anihilator-heavy Eldrazi deck).

Similarly, the enchantments are designed to allow play of a game entirely on my terms such as Wheel of Sun and Moon which prevents milling and allows my spells more utility, Reclamation which is intended to slow down agressive black decks and Dueling Grounds, which is intended to slow down swarm and similar decks.

A fun little combination is Melira, Sylvok Outcast and Phyrexian Unlife, making the deck unkillable except for Alt-Win-Cons, 'You lose the game' effects and commander damage.
