Introduction

This is a ramp-centric deck. It is made to win by having access to larger amounts of mana faster than anyone else.

Primer

Archetype: Ramp Show

This deck is designed to have the commander hit early and make the game very quickly fall in your favor.

As a ramp-heavy deck, the list is put up so your mana resources pile on faster then anyone else and get your threats out earlier then anyone else.

Why mono-? Show

Mono- doesn't have as much dedicated draw as blue, but does it without the drawback of having to discard(), lose life(), or having to rely on artifacts().

It is the color of large creatures with no drawbacks and the mana acceleration to back them up.

Why Sachi? Show

I wanted to make a list that had a heavy focus on ramp, and at the time of creation, Selvala, Heart of the Wilds didn't exist yet. So that leaves Azusa, Lost but Seeking , Vorinclex, Voice of Hunger , and Patron of the Orochi , and I've compared each to Sachi

Selvala, Heart of the Wilds : Selvala at the helm of a deck lends itself more to of a big-creature approach and would be a whole different decklist than what is seen here.

Azusa, Lost but Seeking : Azusa is heavy on lands and her ability will only go as far as lands in your hand, and leads to non interactive games.

Vorinclex, Voice of Hunger : Another land based approach, but that isn't the big reason. His third ability, double tapping opponents lands, is. Although winning is fine goal, everyone sits down at the table to have fun and play the game. The last thing anyone wants is their ability to play the game reduced, and Vorinclex does just that.

Patron of the Orochi : This is a good card(It's in the 99 for a reason), but it at the helm would lead to a mono- goodstuff deck.

Strengths Show

The deck relies on high-powered, high-cost spells supported by massive ramp. Because of the high among of ramp, later turns will carry a heavy weight that will be near unstoppable. Due to the usage of creatures for mana, the deck can ignore opponents that try to use Winter Orb asymmetrically.

Weaknesses Show

While the deck can ignore land destruction and taxes for a good bit, Linvala, Keeper of Silence shuts down the deck's ramp and Gaddock Teeg forces the deck to run out of steam fast because he shuts down card draw outside of Regal Force and shuts down the deck's tutors

Sections of the deck

Shamans Show

Sachi enables shamans to tap for two mana each, so obviously that makes a shaman a powerful thing. Because giving two mana is now a baseline, shamans have to carry more of an effect.

Abzan Beastmaster gives free card draw every turn provided the creatures are big enough

Beastcaller Savant is a shaman that pays for itself with the commander due to it having haste

Bosk Banneret discounts the shaman creatures, allowing more spells to be cast in a turn

Centaur Omenreader is a shaman so it taps for mana, then gives your creature spells a discount for being tapped

Chameleon Colossus is both a shaman and a snake so it receives both benefits from the commander, and can be made massive

Elvish Visionary replaces itself in your hand and pays for itself( on a one turn delay however)

Essence Warden gives you a good amount of life from your own creatures and your opponents'

Gigantomancer is mostly here to provide his ability and give a Coat of Arms boost

Kazandu Tuskcaller can either make mana or elephants at instant speed if blockers are ever needed

Masked Admirers replaces itself in your hand and has built in recursion at a cheap cost for more card draw

Nullmage Shepherd provides repeatable enchantment and artifact hate

Orochi Sustainer is a mana dork that allows Sachi to come out earlier

Oracle of Mul Daya allows land drops of the top of the library in order to prevent late game land-duds

Reclamation Sage is additional artifact and enchantment hate

Sakura-Tribe Elder taps for mana and fetches a land after being tapped

Shaman of Forgotten Ways 's formidable ability can completely take over any opponents that are playing voltron or control

Tajuru Preserver protects against the eldrazi titans and Dictate of Erebos effects

Thornbite Staff is an interesting case. Sachi gives the ability to tap for to all shamans, not just shaman creatures. And because the staff has the subtype shaman, it can be tapped for mana as well. With enough mana and untapped creatures, this can kill threats on the board

Woodfall Primus gets rid of anything that could be considered a problem: planeswalkers, utility lands, enchants, etc.

Yeva, Nature's Herald Virtually allows us to play the deck at instant speed, given how much of the deck consists of creatures

Mana Dump Show

The deck produces lots of mana fast, and the best spells to take advantage of that are X spells. Althogh like I said before, Gaddock Teeg shuts these cards down.

Chord of Calling tutors for whatever creature is needed, or to put Patron of the Orochi on the field at the end of an opponents turn

Genesis Wave will put a massive amount of the deck onto the field, and the mana replaces itself on a good hit

Green Sun's Zenith is another creature tutor, but searching for Avenger of Zendikar would be best here because of its ability is ETB and the Zenith is sorcery speed

Omnath, Locus of Mana holds in green mana for later turns and becomes a massive force while doing so

Primordial Hydra It's a hydra that starts out big and only gets worse over time and also baits removal that could be directed toward Sachi

Ramp Show

Sachi already gives ramp, so what's the point of having land ramp? Two reasons. One of which is to thin the library of non land cards. And the other is in the case of a board wipe, the mana to recast Sachi exists

Boundless Realms is a huge ramp spell, tutoring for 7-10 lands most of the time

Cultivate / Kodama's Reach / Nissa's Pilgrimage are all the same card with different names. What they all do is tutor for a land and ensure a land drop the next turn

Explore cantrips and allows for another land drop the same turn

Explosive Vegetation tutors for two lands at a low cost. In the same vein, Rampant Growth tutors for half the lands for half the cost. Seems like a good deal.

Harvest Season fetches lands based on the amount of tapped creatures. So if you could tap out all shamans to cast another spell and that would net a large amount of lands for cheap.

Far Wanderings is an overcosted Rampant Growth unless you have threshold. Then it One-for-ones mana to land, making it better than Rampant Growth

Journey of Discovery should always have the entwine cost paid. Six mana is a small amount in the list and there are two situations that come up with this. The first is you have lands and need to play them. The other is you just don't have lands. The first one results in having no lands left over, and the second one results in you not having lands. Again

Khalni Heart Expedition is delayed land tutoring for a reduced cost, but can be sped up with other land tutors

Nature's Lore takes forests out of the library for cheap and has them enter uptapped, ready for usage

Nissa's Renewal costs a bit more then most of the ramp at six mana. But it's two mana for each tutored land that comes directly onto the battlefield and gives 7 life in addition

Rampant Growth is half the cost of Explosive Vegetation for half the effect

Skyshroud Claim is cheap and tutors for two forests and puts them onto the field untapped

Tribe Boosters Show

Anything here is made to boost the shaman tribe, wether helping an effect that Sachi gives or supporting any named tribe

Coat of Arms is good in any tribal deck, and it's influence is heavily noted here where it makes

Leaf-Crowned Elder turn a topdeck shaman into a free spell, but if both are out at the same time, have path resolve first so in the case where it isn't a shaman, the Elder's ability doesn't go to waste

Door of Destinies is like coat of arms, but is based on cast triggers and one-sided instead

Quest for Renewal will accumulate five counters very quickly, allowing for blocks to be made or mana to be stored in Omnath

Thousand-Year Elixir is huge here, allowing for shamans to tap for mana the turn they come out. This gets out of hand fast when put together with a draw engine.

Other Show

Cards here give a strong effect, but don't fit anywhere else

Concordant Crossroads is like Thousand-Year Elixir , but gives actual haste instead of pseudo-haste, and allows creatures to swing the turn they come out.

Creeping Renaissance . Mill effects have a strong presence in my meta, and this is themethod I use to combat it. It returns all creatures from the grave to my hand allowing for a second chance on all of them, and the flashback ensures that even if it get milled, i can still use it.

Emerald Medallion reduces the cost of spells...not much else to say here.

Garruk, Caller of Beasts will accelerate creatures being put into the hand. And in the rare case of the ultimate, it's only a short time before all of your creatures are on the field

Garruk's Horde is in here because I ended up with a dead hand of lands quickly during test runs of the deck. Horde alleviates that somewhat by giving me a place to cast from besides my hand.

Rhonas's Monument reduces the cost of creature spells and gives a boost for each creature cast.

Gamechangers Show

Exactly what it says on the tin, these spells swing the game and attention to you the moment they resolve. These are most often wincons

Avenger of Zendikar . Given the large amount of afformentioned land ramp, he/she/it makes a massive amount of tokens, and using any land ramp after it enters gives you a massive army

Chameleon Colossus . It's a shaman. It's a snake. It's also a mutant ninja turtle god. None of those qualities matter for it's power(Although that last part is pretty cool). It starts out a 4/4 and becomes an 8/8 for a small amount of mana, then a 16/16 for the same amount, then a 32/32. So on and so forth. Point is: It becomes huge for a cheap cost. Give it trample and you've eliminated someone.

Cloudstone Curio . Even in a non-combo deck, this is a combo piece. With Concordant Crossroads or card:Thousand-Year Exlir out, you cast a shaman and bounce another shaman to your hand. Tapping the freshly fasted shaman for mana, cast the shaman you bounced with Curio. Bounce the tapped shaman with Curio to your hand. Repeat

Genesis Wave is a huge source of ramp, putting out shaman, card draw engines, and lands alike. This should make you able to win within two turns, if not the turn you cast it.

Gigantomancer . He's a 1/1. But he can make any number of things you have a 7/7 for one mana each. For seven mana, he gives you 49 base damage across seven creatures

Overrun . Everything you have gets +3/+3 AND the trample to support the massive boost. Given how many creatures the deck outputs at the speed it does and how little it costs, this should eliminate at least one person, if not all of your opponents

Patron of the Orochi . Only two other spells in the deck cost eight mana, and neither of those two give such an abundance of mana. For absolutely no cost, the patron untaps your entire manabase. With the entire excess of mana available, Genesis Wave can throw out half or more of your deck. Omnath becomes a massive force. You could play anything in your deck

Paradox Engine . Every spell you cast opens up your mana sources again. Play a creature, draw cards off the various card draw effects and repeat until you get Concordant Crossroads

Primordial Hydra . It is one of the most green creatures to exist. Make it big and run over someone's face

Shaman of Forgotten Ways . The deck is very creature heavy and damage reliant. Any deck with a heavy life gain ability or stalls makes it slow down or stop entirely. This is Green's answer to that. It brings Voltron players to single didgets. Superfriends to zero.

Card Draw Show

The deck plays creatures, the majority of the deck, fast. It's only because of these cards that the deck can carry on after the initial opening 7.

Collective Unconscious / Shamanic Revelation is standard green card draw. One creature=One card

Primordial Sage / Soul of the Harvest / Zendikar Resurgent are draw engines that continuously fuel the hand. Enabling haste on shamans makes the engine even more ridiculous

Regal Force . Collective Unconscious on a stick

Slate of Ancestry . Collective Unconscious on a repeatable rock

Mana Enhancers Show

The deck isn't that mana intensive(A little over half the deck sits at 2-4 CMC), but it wants to cast a large number of spells incredibly fast and these cards speed up the process of mana acceleration.

Caged Sun . I have a tendency to put this is my monocolored decks for the mana boost. The initial six mana can be payed for as early as turn four by using shamans, leaving 8 mana in the form of lands to cast whatever you need.

Mana Reflection . The six mana investment is easy to pay as has an even bigger boost than caged sun. Mana Reflection doubles the mana of the shamans, putting the rate at tapping one permanent for four mana.

Vernal Bloom . It's a symmetrical effect, but the effect for any opponents that aren't running mono green is minimal. As a mono green deck, the list gets the full and total effect because the deck desont run any non basics or shocklands that aren't a forest.

Zendikar Resurgent . Once again it's a steep investment for a Caged Sun effect, costing one more than sun(and leaves a awkward floating mana if you tap shamans for it). But in exchange, it boosts the mana lands tap for and gives card draw on cast, replacing a creature with another card even if it gets countered.
