Do you enjoy extravagant displays of wealth and power? Do you start your morning drinking orange juice from the holy grail and a dodo egg served on a platinum plate? Do you enjoy reaching your gold gilded hand so far into your opponent's ass that you can work their mouth like a puppet? If so, then Gonti, Lord of Luxury is the deck for you!

Tips:

Play Gonti as much as possible. Do not fear death. Gonti is an aetherborn, accustomed to short, pleasure filled lives! Your goal is to give him as many of those lives as possible. Specifically emphasize to your opponents your willingness and pleasure in sending the glorious lord of luxury to the graveyard. It would just be so horrible for him to die! Always start by pillaging the blue player. Mono-black was never meant to have counterspells or clones and it is your job to show the world why. Specifically look for players playing BUG, Alesha, or recursion. They will frequently have a Gonti of their own in their deck and it is your job to steal it, declaring yourself the alpha Gonti as you play it, sacrificing your Gonti to the legend rule and forcing theirs to live a dull existence stuck on your battlefield.

A few cards that I have deemed as too obnoxiously powerful for their lack of flavor have been included in the sideboard, for those with particularly cruel taste.
