As the name suggests, this is my first attempt at putting together a straightforward elf deck. Elves lead to ramp leads to more elves lead to turning my board sideways. I also threw in a handful of extra-large beasties for removal, graveyard recovery, persisting through most board wipes, and/or acting as win conditions in their own right. With all the mana I can generate, casting them shouldn’t be a problem. Seedborn Muse may not be an elf either, but the ability to activate tap abilities (and, with Yeva, Nature's Herald, flash in more creatures) potentially four times as often seems much too useful to ignore.

After some kitchen table testing, it seems to work okay (for casual play, at any rate), but it feels like it takes too long to really get going. Advice on tightening the deck up would be appreciated. Budget is low—-there’s not a specific dollar amount I’m trying to stick to, but I won’t be picking up more cards on the level of Gaea's Cradle any time soon.
