Mono red creature control. A very resilient deck. This deck plays toward the long game, beyond turns 12-15. I intend on this deck being of a casual nature so it is fun to play and play against.

My favorite aspect about Diaochan, Artful Beauty is that I get to pick the opponent for the 2nd creature. I always make everyone at the table aware that I refuse to play game ending combos. This lowers my threat level initially. After that I use my general to pick on the combo/competitive players by choosing someone who is down on their luck or is playing a more casual deck. They're generally more than happy to kill someone's creature that isn't mine! This political side of my deck is very useful in securing 2nd or 1st place. (I don't play to win every game).
