So here's a list of the cards that I got for the deck:

However, there's plenty of things I know I need, and some things I might consider (thanks to edhrec.com).Holy crap, that's a lot of cards. What I want to do right now is have Kess play the support role while I tutor up Nekusar to play. As soon as I can start nabbing the wheels for Nekusar's pain, Kess's ability will allow me to cast them back for more wheel-y fun times (for me, at least). That way, people won't realize that this is actually a Nekusar deck: he's hiding, ready to strike! But my biggest problem is discerning which of these 150+ cards I need to whittle down to about 65, and also figure out how many lands I need to play. I've got a little money to spend, and this list is about as far as I'll go cost-wise.

Depends what colours you are in, but blue can win out of nowhere for example by making 5 copies of the best creature at the table with Rite of Replication. If you can chain spells together Aetherflux Reservoir can kill at least one player off (but it's a bit difficult in multiplayer to beat the table).

My Mizzix deck attempts to win by making a bunch of experience counters and using this cost reduction to chain a couple spells together. This allows my tokens producers to flood the board. It can also win through burn and can use Firemind's Foresight to tutor up Fall of the Titans, Comet Storm and Urza's Rage for some heavy damage.

With blue I usually feel they don't win by playing a "I win card" but by stopping other players in their track and slowing the game down until they're ready to win... so I guess counterspells are a wincon.

Sweet creation, I love it!! Got some ideas.... not sure what to cut or anything, plus your deck is rad already, but i got a few card suggestions too ;)

Nykthos, Shrine to Nyx & Expedition Map seem like they could be quite good. Maybe Urza's Rage or Insult / Injury could do some work too. Maybe Lightmine Field for more protection plus another way to damage creatures. Charmbreaker Devils for more recursion.

I love a good mono-red BEATS deck! How does Urza's Rage sound? Chandra, Pyromaster is a cheap planeswalker than can copy a devastating damage spell. Dual Casting for more copying. If you want to have fun and gamble, Fiery Gambit can attract a crowd to your table to watch (Imagine copying it!). Braid of Fire Ain't cheap, but it'll supply you with mana. Wild Ricochet is almost an auto-include for me (saved me multiple times). run Brand if card stealing is heavy in your meta.

Card Draw: Unfortunately, Red mana doesn't have great access to card draw without discard effects; Avaricious Dragon, Browbeat can net a few cards, Burning Inquiry, Goblin Lore, Control of the Court, Mindmoil does a dope job of letting you dig through your library. ALOT of wheel effects.

BUT Geth's Grimoire Makes amazing use of these wheel effects!!

You might be interested in Otherworld Atlas. Yes it gives everybody cards, but hardly anyone can complain or target the guy giving everyone cards. Arcane Spyglass makes use of unneeded mana. Farsight Mask, Font of Mythos, Illuminated Folio, Staff of Nin, Well of Knowledge,

Mizzix of the Izmagnus does lower the Kicker cost for Urza's Ragebut it's cmc is still 3.

This is a good start to the deck but i noticed that you have Urza's Rage which doesn't work with Mizzix because the kicker isn't part of the mana cost so he doesn't lower it. There are better options for huge damage spells that do work and you should look into switching those in.

Some time ago, I had an idea to make cards that became more powerful if a player controlled a certain permanent, so I spent time refining that idea, and I produced a legendary creature who has several signature spells, which are acceptable on their own, but become much more powerful if their creator is present (symbolizing from a flavor perspective that the creator can cast their own spells much more effectively than can another mage).

The creator of this spells is mage named Khalim, who became bored of studying only one form of magic and traveled far and wide to learn many different styles of magic, eventually devising his own signature spells. I have not developed a more detailed backstory for Khalim than that, but I do not need to do so, at the present time. Due to his many years of studying, Khalim has devised a spell of each color, and they are as follows:

Khalim's Anger Show

This card takes inspiration from Urza's Rage, Sizzle, and Pyroclasm, dealing a greater amount of damage, which becomes unpreventable, if Khalim is present.

Khalim's Might Show

Without Kahlim, this card is strictly worse than Overrun, although I did make its casting cost less strict to balance that. However, with Khalim, it becomes strictly better than overrun. I know that menace is usually associated with black and red creatures, but I believe that it makes sense from a flavor perspective in this case, especially considering that Bellowing Tanglewurm gives green creatures intimidate.

Khalim's Spite Show

This card is modeled after Wit's End, but with both a lower, albeit stricter, mana cost, as well as additional effects, since I believe that that card is simply too expensive for too little of an effect.

Khalim's Valor Show

This card is intended to be a combat trick, akin to Aerial Maneuver, Call to Glory, Glorious Charge, Guardians' Pledge, Mighty Leap, Break of Day, Inspired Charge, Sanctified Charge, Show of Valor, Hold the Line, and so forth. Should there be an "untap all creatures that you control" clause, so that it can be used defensively as well as offensively?

Khalim's Will Show

Without Khalim, this card is exactly the same as Cancel, one of the worst counterspells in the game, but, with Khalim, it is better than Dismiss; with that being said, should I reduce the number of cards drawn to a specific number, such as one or two?

After seeing these cards, I imagine that the anticipation for Khalim himself must be very high, so, without further ado, here he is, in all of his glory:

Khalim, Master of Many Show

Khalim himself can find one of his own spells, so he naturally has great synergy with them. His having hexproof and prowess are indicators of his immense magical skill, but I knew that I would need to keep his power and toughness low to balance those abilities. His "draw and discard" ability represents his ability to find a new solution by abandoning a previous one.
