With the second release of Planechase, came a love-at-first-sight relationship with a certain Red/Green Legendary creature. The concept is delightfully simple: -make food, whether by casting creatures, activating abilities, or enchantments -include ways to maximize return on food (parallel lives/doubling season, krenko+various gobbies, etc) -eat food with a devour creature -include ways to give the diner haste/trample -swing -repeat if necessary

it's extremely straightforward, tends to use all of its mana on each of its turns instead of keeping some for answers. is a rare deck where Anger, Brawn, AND Squee are cast as creatures instead of just discarded somehow. alternatively, the food makes for an excellent swarm, if spot removal is a concern, and the look on someone's face when you Fling a fat Thromok at them is priceless.
