Strategy
The primary goal of the deck is to play low-cost vampires to take advantage of Edgar Markov’s eminence ability, which creates a 1/1 black Vampire creature token whenever you cast another Vampire spell. This rapid token generation allows you to quickly build a wide board presence. The deck focuses on aggressive gameplay, aiming to overwhelm opponents with sheer numbers and synergistic vampire abilities. The secondary goal is to enhance your vampires with +X/+X counters and other buffs to make them even more formidable.

By casting low-cost vampires, you maximize the value from Edgar’s eminence ability, rapidly building a horde of vampires. Combined with various vampire lords, card draw engines, and support spells, this deck seeks to dominate the game through sheer numbers and synergistic power. The inclusion of mana ramp and efficient lands ensures you can cast your spells on curve, maintaining pressure on your opponents from start to finish. The secondary focus on adding +X/+X counters through cards like Warleader’s Call, Shared Animosity, and Coat of Arms further amplifies your vampires’ strength, making them even more deadly in combat.
Although the joke of a competitive meter shows not competitive and more casual I can say from experience that this deck is more deadly then the meter states. This deck is fast ramping and overwhelms the opponent before they can get anything to pop off. Please let me know what you thing and give any suggestions if you think the deck can be more potent.
