Tasigur's "death" was printed in Alpha. but Dragonlord Silumgar's necklace isnt the end of the story: for real necromancy there is something bigger needed:

a Death Cloud, a Possessed Portal or an Infernal Darkness can be cruel enough to bring back the dead shaman as it feeds his lust to delve.

Phyrexian Totem, jitte and o-naginata are the sticks to stab planeswalkers or opponents to death.

gravehate prevents opponents recovery after a big play.

major support to finish a struggling fight are either discard engines like lili or crucible + stripmine.
