So I grabbed Omnath for a Golos deck but ended up liking him more. He has cards draw and a way to buff.

So Omnath, Locus of the Roil does have some elemental synergies but this deck isn't really built around that. For the most part the counters go on himself, either for Rancor or Zameck Guildmage .

I did have one game where I ramped a bunch in one turn and put the counters on other creatures then survived Hour of Devastation before combat.

Rude Awakening and Sylvan Awakening or maybe Omnath, Locus of Rage can make the commander shoot a player for 20 if I'm lucky.

The majority of the deck is pretty typical for the strategy, but there are some combos in there that work better than in other decks.

Combos

Omnath, Locus of Rage with Risen Reef is already good, but add Patron of the Moon , Lotus Cobra any of the other good draw effects like Kiora, Behemoth Beckoner and the commander and your board is flooded.

Psychosis Crawler and Temur Ascendancy take advantage of this pretty lethally.

Lotus Cobra with Patron of the Moon and Trade Routes is infinite landfall for the commander, which also works with crawler.

Trade Routes with Borborygmos Enraged and either Creeping Reconnaissance or Splendid Reclamation

Another one for trade routes, which is just a combo but not infinite is with Burgeoning , returning a land in response to the trigger. With my commander I draw a card, buff him and I have an untapped land to do it next time an opponent plays a land.

The cobra also works really well with the commander and Fertilid , which results in paying 1 mana for a tapped basic and a card draw. Omnath, Locus of the Roil replaces the +1/+1 counter.

So there's a bunch of combos and interactions. The deck probably needs more removal but it's done in terms on strategies and how it runs.

The reason the mana is so even is because I do like to get the commander out early, but I could probably switch it up.

I need a scapeshift. Other suggestions are good too.
