Mount-up is something my friends and I created, and a fun/affordable way to play EDH. FIRST you pick your commander, Rafiq of the Many . After you've chosen the commander, now chose your mount. Your mount has to be within your commander colors, cannot be legendary, and HAS to make sense. Example, a Legendary dragon can't mount another dragon. For my mount I chose Fleecemane Lion . It's in my commander's colors, it's not legendary, and Rafiq is literally mounted on a lion in his card art so it makes sense (flavor wise).

The way Mount-up works is the exact same as normal EDH, however your commander is now both your commander/mount. Consider them as one card, and so their mana costs, bodies, and effects are now joined as one card. My commander now costs 1generic, 2G 2W 1B... So 6 CMC. His body is now 6/6, and has effects of both Rafiq of the Many and Fleecemane Lion .

The 98 other cards MUST be uncommon or common, which keeps the budget nice and low. Please feel free to come up with your own Mount-up combinations and share them here!
