Q: Why Oketra?

A: I started the build focusing on her, not on Barren Glory. I'm not a person who's fond of winning through combat, so I gave up on nearly everything Oketra provides us and went for Barren Glory instead. I just really wanted to build a deck on her that was personally fun for me.

Q: Why Barren Glory?

A: Well... There are other weird mono-white wincons that don't touch on the combat step, Near-Death Experience and such. I guess I could've picked any of them, but maybe Barren Glory was more of a Amonkhet-Egypt fitting theme, idk.
