So, you wish to know how to assemble a battlefield eh? Well this simple deck will have you one up and running in no time! We start with the assembly workers, they help assemble each other and assemble you some artifact tokens; and, with a little magic (and luck), we transform your stockpile of tokens into an army Urza would be proud of.

Assembly-Worker This deck has many functions, first of which is assembly-worker tribal. On their own, assembly-workers do quite a bit of heavy lifting giving buffs to each other, cloning each other, and tutoring each other. One of the assembly-workers though stands above the rest: Academy Manufactor.

Tokens, Tokens, and more Tokens Academy Manufactor gives you a clue, food, and treasure token every time you gain one of them. The aim of this portion of the deck is to get as many clue, food, and treasure tokens as possible on the battlefield by using artifacts like Tamiyo's Journal, Magnifying Glass, Witch's Oven, and Tempting Contract to create a constant stream of these tokens coming in. While these tokens are just great on there own, this deck has other uses for them.

Food Bank Inspiring Statuary turns all our artifacts into mana for casting spells. While this only works for nonartifact spells, and only for casting them, spells that cost X can be cast using the improvise mechanic. Spells like Disorder in the court and Overrule can get you X clues or life, Dance of the Manse brings back what has been lost and makes them big boy 4/4s for a bit, and Cryptic Trilobite can filter your casting mana into ability mana (and be a big boy).

Poisoned Food Instead of tapping your artifacts for mana, Karn, Living Legacy's emblem lets you tap artifacts for damage. This one is harder to get off as it requires Karn to survive for 4 turns, at which point your opponents may just turn you into the arch enemy. Karn's other abilities do come in handy enough to be in this deck.

An Army in Seconds The Final use for the pile of tokens we have created is to turn them all into creatures. Cards like The Antiquities War and Cyberdrive Awakener turn all artifacts into big 5/5s and 4/4s, and with Urza, Prince of Mid as our commander, we dont have to worry about our tokens dying to March of the Machines for not having a mana cost.

Robots While we are done with clue, food, and treasure, we are not quite done with tokens. The next major theme of this deck is creature tokens, harder to get then the CFT tokens but directly usable. Mishra's Self Replicator, Helm of the Host, and Platoon Dispenser consistently bring out the troops while cards like Dutiful Replicator, Cogwork Assembler, and Sculpting Steel provide copies of artifacts giving you double triggers and more safety from removal.

A Well Fed Army With the large amount of permanent and temporary creature tokens on the battlefield, building them bigger will ensure a quicker victory, or in dire circumstances, a fighting chance. Our Commander Urza, Prince of Mid provides an always accessible anthem effect to us, with other anthems being Chief of the Foundry, Call for Unity, Intangible Virtue, and Tempered Steel. Counter effects like Unbreakable formation, Steel Overseer, and Autonomous Assembler allow the creation of big creatures when nothing seems to be popping off right.

The Big 'uns Metalwork Colossus, Darksteel Juggernaut, and Karn, Scion of Urza(-2 ability) act as the big late game creatures, joined too by Cryptic Trilobite and Power Plant Worker, although these ones are not intended. I have opted out of putting eldrazi cards as big late game dudes to not always rely on the same old cards I use in my other decks and to keep it more on theme (and price)

This deck is meant to be a casual fun commander deck as opposed to a laser focused effort to destroy the enemy. This deck was built cheaply too only using big cards I already owned.

Thank you for viewing my deck.
