Far Traveler

Legendary Enchantment — Background

Commander creatures you own have "At the beginning of your end step, exile up to one target tapped creature you control, then return it to the battlefield under its owner's control."

I have a very similar deck built, it's very fun to play! I also had Far Traveler in my deck but decided to take it out because you both need to have your commander and a tapped creature for it to work. I would also consider adding Wispweaver Angel.

Welcome to the club, bfroese90!

What's the intent of Ephemerate, Felidar Guardian, Far Traveler, and all those cards? You don't have a lot of your own creatures to blink, and most of these return the creature to its owner's control, not its controller's.

Unfortunately no, this won't work. When an object changes zones the game treats it as a new object with no relation to what it was before. There are a few exceptions for things needed to make certain effects work properly, but none of those exceptions help here. After Far Traveler's trigger resolves, the Obzedat trigger still on the stack will be referring to the "old" Obzedat that created it and can't do anything with the "new" Obzedat that just came back.

If I have Obzedat, Ghost Council and Far Traveler on the battlefield and I move to my end step, can I stack the effects so that Obzedat, Ghost Council leaves play from Far Traveler's effect, comes back then leaves again due to it's own effect?

Thanks for your comment Ferrahk, maybe I should edit the description because now I am reading it maybe it is confusing. Far Traveler is in the deck to blink Vishgraz, the Doomhive or Ichor Rats, to protect another creature after attack thanks to the ability of Saryth, the Viper's Fang, and because it is an enchantment so you would have more options to draw when Atraxa ETB. I tried to have almost 10 cards of each type to help with the draw trigger but maybe is one of the easy cuts for one of the Maybeboard. Thanks for the question though.
