Hi, welcome to the Church of the Sun God. We will expand this church plains by plains until it stretches farther than the eye can see. The more we spread the good word, the more clerics will come to aid in our whorship. Once we have spread the good word far enough, I just know that Heliod will send his heavenly host to protect us. And maybe, just maybe, if we are devoted enough, Heliod, himself, will come to our aid!

Years ago now, my friends and I did a deckbuilding challenge where we all picked one of the 5 original Theros gods. I picked Heliod and I really liked the deck alot. After years of playing and improving the deck this is where it's ended up. The deck used to be more good stuff and synergies with the commander (Old deck: The Church of the Sun God), but I have recently leaned more into the tribal side. I like the idea of a Angel/Cleric tribal deck with a God at the helm. I love this deck and have spent tons of time on it, but I still loving improving it, so any tips or suggestions are welcome!
