Neera, Wild Mage

Neera is a 6 CMC commander with an optional self chaos effect with crazy potential. Plus, she's one of my favorite characters from the Baldur's Gate series.

Our goal is to get Neera out as early as we can and focus on rearranging our deck order to cheat out some of the more expensive Eldrazi. Still, if that fails, we have Thousand Year Storm, Mizzix's Mastery, Displacer Kitten, and some token generators for when games go on too long. Displacer Kitten is our most important card as we can use it to blink Neera and repeat her effect until we actually hit a creature. From there, it's as simple as casting another of our low CMC cantrips to blink Neera again and keep the chain going.

Important to note that cast triggers still go off even if we use Neera's ability. This means double the cast triggers and two opportunities for our opponents to counter our spells. This means we can copy spells we choose not to cast with Thousand Year Storm and doubles the output of our token generators. When combined with Displacer Kitten, we can cycle through our entire deck and win the game with a lightning bolt or a massive army of constructs and sharks.

If we're wanting to run a higher powered deck, we can swap out cards like armillary sphere and faithless looting to run some of the better ramp and card draw effects. Maybe throw in some stax pieces since we'll be casting big spells for little mana. Emrakul would be an extraordinary powerful card for Neera and would make a mean addition. The optimal way to play her still likely revolves around using Displacer Kitten and lots of tutors to go searching for it but no other creatures. After snagging our kitten, we cycle through our entire deck to look for extra turn cards, Thousand Year Storm, and/or token generators.
