My overpowered Urza deck. In it's first iteration, it's like a 9-10 spiky busted deck. I wanted this deck to be able to match up against and fight my Yawgmoth deck.

Made some changes to make it a little bit more fun, although admittedly, it's a lot less flavor now. I'm make some more edits to try and cut the Eldrazzi eventually, but I thought in one sense it could be considered pretty true to the character, opening different portals to different times and plains.

I tried to fit all the Karn cards I had.

The general strategy is to use our mono blue ramp ability to get as much mana as we can by turn 2-4 and summon gigantic threats. We wanna be out quick and fast before our opponents have any options. I cut our counter-spell package in favor of the giant threats, figuring that this was better for our commander, more fair, and a bit more fun to play against.

Changes to the Deck (First card was the card cut, second card was the replacement). Remember that I was powering down the deck some, so a lot of these changes likely brought this deck closer to an 8.

Conduit of Ruin + Force of Will which is something we can cast on turn 6 for ramp and tutor, or just get it off urza and we're not feeling too bad with just the ramp.

Elder Deep-Fiend + Thwart which can be used as a flash trick, or just a big dumb idiot, and lowroll off Urza.

Pact of Negation for AEtherling which was one of my favorite cards back in the day and a versatile card.

Negate for Part the Waterveil which can be used for OTK's or random Urza effects.

Jace's Mindseeker + Last Word this thing on it's own can win us games and is a fine card in our random Urza shenanigans.

Karn Liberated + Rewind very flavorful card which is a sick roll off the top, or a good late game option.

Artisan of Kozilek + Planar Portal which is either a big dumb idiot threatening to blow up stuff, or a sweet reload after board wipe.

Grim Monolith + Kozilek, Butcher of Truth while Grim is a great option and busted with the other infinite mana combos in the deck, I thought a very mild hit to the consistency of the ramp for one of the best beaters in the game, I figured the butcher would get us great late game draw in addition to any other obvious effects.

Enter the Infinite + Karn, the Great Creator for the flavor mostly, but also to buy us time to ramp, or for a surprise off the Urza.

Karn, Scion of Urza + Mana Drain not only does it have Urza in the game, also acts as a wonderful card draw engine.
