Yet another planeswalker wishes to know the truth... so be it.......

Few knew the secret of us .... the gods of Theros. Xenagos spoiled our grand secret. We were as he was, planeswalkers who sacrificed their spark to ascend, and rule the beings of Theros with the divinity of gods, but the intentions of an oppressor.

In my travels I learned to refine my already potent magics. I traveled to Lorwyn during its cycle of shadowmoor and learned to perfect a poison with both bend and bite.

In the haunting countryside of Innistrad long before Sorin or Avacyn existed I learned how to sow souls into rotting flesh, I use this trick even after my ascension to make more .... favorable pets.

My wanderings eventually brought me to Ravinica particularly my favored plane, a spectacular city that spreads across the entire world, a place very difficult for a gorgon to blend in. I quickly found myself seeking refuge in dark places after a fierce encounter with the Azorius magistrate. There in the rotting depths I met Svogthir the parun of the Golgari, I wasn't interested in the politics, but the majesty of an endless cycle of both necromancy, and natural vigor. After years spent learning from the shamans and guildmages I heard rumors of a destabilizing civilization on the plane Theros. How can one resist such a cry for power? I left Ravinica behind to reap the spoils of a new world. This is the history of a planeswalker long forgotten....... Pharika......

The planeswalker inquired about what Theros was like before the pantheon formed.

You wish to hear more mortal? My services to you only go so far... very well..... but only if you're willing to entertain my gorgons....they love adding granite to the scenery....

My discovery of Theros came at a time when the 5 gods Heliod, Erebos, Thassa, Nylea, and Purphoros had already ascended.... They were similiar to the primal planeswalkers of this time Ajani Goldmane, Liliania Vess, Jace Beleren, Garruk Wildspeaker, and Chandra Nalaar.... Nyx was the wellspring of mana that drew them here..... by binding themselves to Nyx it granted them immortality at the price of their spark..... perhaps I have tempted you with a prize you cannot take... planeswalker.....

The planeswalker quickly wrote every bit of information presented only sparing a moment to glance up after Pharika's remark.

Silence fell within the temple except for the frantic scratching of notes.... and then Pharika contiued with her tale no joy in her voice.........

Due to the recent events Xengoes has set in motion.... A conflict has broken out within the patheon. Heliod's authority now in question the whole of the pantheon wishes to usurp his seat of power for themselves, and I'm no exception..... Victory bears its fruit young planeswalker, but toying with my victims is so much more.... delicious! her laugh echoes through the temple making the gorgons aware of the planeswalkers pressence. The sound of a book falling resounds through the halls. silence soon fell, and only gorgons and a polished statue remain.
