Kalamax really does just blow up.

This deck is all about copying instants, whether that be through Mr. Kalamalalamamax or through cards like Ral, Storm Conduit, Swarm Intelligence, so on. On top of that, Kalamax gets bigger for each copy you make. So, you can attack with him to get him tapped and ready, or you can use cards like Springleaf Drum, Quicksilver Dagger or Relic of Legends to make a resource out of him whenever attacking is off the table. After that point, every first instant you cast in any player's turn becomes a double threat, even removal. Zada, Hedron Grinder also just spreads the love (t.i. copies) even farther, growing Kalamaladindong faster as a bonus!

This deck has a mighty suite of instants, too. Cantrips, buffs, fights, and evasion are rife! Fists of Flame is a particular favorite, because it can draw and buff you a ton off a single cast and copy. Nexus of Fate often nets you 2 to 3 extra turns. Unleash Fury and Soul's Fire also work wonders together as neat wincons/player-removal.

There're also many ways to recur spells, like Ojer Pakpatiq, Deepest Epoch  , Lier, Disciple of the Drowned, Praetor's Council, and Wrenn and Six. Pakpatiq and Lier basically make spells infinitely recurable, and Wrenn and Six are awesome ways to just cast cantrips over and over again.

A fun, more commander-damage-oriented, lighter version of my Ink-Treader Nephilim deck.
