My first own EDH deckbuild so any suggestions are very welcome! **

I'm trying to get the deck multiplayer ready, if it makes me the archenemy in a group I wouldn't mind but not disabling other players decks too much. Apart from that I am looking to get the first few turns streamlined so I can set up my play for long games (These are most common in the playgroup) **

The General

Theros is by far my favourite block in terms of flavor. And the gods are at the absolute top, so Erebos was an easy pick for me. He is hard to remove, enters the battlefield early and helps you draw cards.

Strengths

Ramping

I don't agree with the idea that green is the only color that can properly ramp, black can stand its own more then you would expect. Cabal Coffers + Crypt of Agadeem do more then enough to help the fatties of this deck come to fruition.

Low land count

As you can see this deck doesn't run that much land, and it doesn't need to! It has a few answers to people trying to ruin your day this way.

Lifegain

Due to cards like Venser's Journal and Trading Post the life you lose running this deck comes back easily.

Weaknesses

Early Game

The Deck doesn't shine in the early game and prefers to set itself up for the bigger baddies later on in the deck.

Combos

Necropotence + Venser's Journal

Using Necropotence on your opponents turn, then get all the life you spent back and not even having to discard down to 7 cards? No loss here.

Korlash, Heir to Blackblade + Lashwrithe

A creature that gets stronger when you have more swamps paired with a Artifact that grows with more swamps? This combo has gotten out of hand often pretty quickly.

Koskun Falls + Painful Quandary
