Mindwrack Liege Discussion
Well, I have a very casual blue/red EDH that is fun to play. It's a little bonkers though. It's still in it's first iteration, and plays like a bull in a china shop. Last night I blew everything up by flashing out a Bearer of the Heavens (using Mindwrack Liege) to block a 10 power. That was fun. If you don't care about winning and just want to get zany, you can check out Electric Storm Hug N Slug. If you want something competitive or need a clear path to victory, don't bother looking at it. Either way, good luck finding your next new brew! May your lands never come in tapped, and your spells always resolve.

Sphinx's Tutelage for a milling focus.
With so many creatures, you could lock down the board with Opposition.
Mindwrack Liege strengthens your swarm. It also lets you play your creatures at instant speed. That seems especially helpful since your commander will be returning to your hand.

Tio_Infernape - While Coat of Arms is definitely strong, it's a bit too mana intensive here since I'm not focusing 100% on the tokens. Shared Animosity and Mindwrack Liege already pump the tokens and cost less and are more flexible than Coat of Arms. I'm a little wary of the global effect of Coat of Arms as well. Thanks for the suggestion though!

Mindwrack Liege makes the bugs huge and lets you cheat out the god if he dies for less mana.

This needs a a lot of fast mana and some lockout tricks or fast wincons. I'm thinking Burn at the Stake for some lightning fast damage, Mind Over Matter because it's degenerate with like six cards in your deck, Temple Bell, Training Grounds, Hive Mind and Mindwrack Liege. Some of those are a bit on the pricey side, but all of them would contribute a good deal to the exxectiveness of the deck.

Wow, a lot of comments to respond to! In order...
gockley: Thanks for the comment! You say yours is more wheel-heavy: any good ones I'm missing, other than Windfall? I love the concept of Mindwrack Liege and Library of Leng here, those definitely need to find a slot, thanks! I do think Arcanis the Omnipotent is too expensive, and I don't want to give cards to my opponent with Fevered Visions, however. Thanks again! (And if you like the deck, you're always welcome to +1 the deck haha...)
Hamster2558: I'm afraid it's probably not worth it; it's almost always 5 damage to the player with the highest life total rather than giving me cards.
Fungreatmario: Nah, the deck's combos are slow - I can't consume all of T7 to set back my opponents unfortunately.
ArmorEuro: I've considered it, but it's 12 mana :( kinda win-more here.
Workman4137: Niv-Mizzet, the Firemind is in here, but I'm not sure why Niv-Mizzet, Dracogenius would fit (I think he's very weak actually). My plan for dealing with running out of cards is discarding Kozilek, Butcher of Truth to reshuffle my library - more efficient than Elixir of Immortality since I can also use him as a wincon. I haven't faced much mass discard (my meta tends to be very fast and low-CMC) but I should generate enough fliers to block Nicol Bolas, at least. For now I do have Purphoros, the most powerful token ETB effect, and I'll see if I need more... And I'm playing a silly combo deck where as many cards as possible try to draw into more cards (like a storm deck), so Counterspell effects aren't a priority at the moment. I would love Mana Drain if I could afford one (since it also works as acceleration), but for now it's out of my reach... Thanks for your comment! :)
veggiesblowup: I'm afraid I do think he's too slow. The average CMC is already really high here, and I need to try and lower it further.
NV_1980: I could see that! Interesting idea haha.
RazortoothMtg: I've found that Kraum tends to give me an additional card each turn. Still, he may get cut - I'm indecisive.
cujo253: I could see him, I suppose...I'll have to look into it more :)
Thank you all for your comments! And if you liked the deck, +1s are great - trying to make it from #2 to #1 ;)

I saw this spoiled yesterday and instantly sat down to brew some EDH.
While my brew is about wheel effects with a few more creatures as my table meta is pretty creature heavy. A few cards I have in my deck that are missing here (that I think are quite good) are
Arcanis the Omnipotent expensive, but you get to tap him for 3 cards. That seems good.
Mindwrack Liege Because 3/3 flyers are better then 1/1 flyers.
Fevered Visions The end step seems like a good time to put a locust out. Also hit your opponents.
Library of Leng My version is a little more wheel heavy, but uh... wheel effects putting your hand back into your library seem good. Especially from the sheer number of them you can run in EDH.

A potential reward for your Grixis EDH deck: Demon's Herald (into Prince of Thralls). The Demi-god Auras and Lieges from Lorwyn-Shadowmoor might be useful too: Helm of the Ghastlord, Fists of the Demigod, Clout of the Dominus, Glen Elendra Liege, Ashenmoor Liege, and Mindwrack Liege. There's also Dire Undercurrents.
