Ayara, First of Locthwain is the commander in this deck focused on card draw, life gain/drain, and sacrifice disposable tokens to make your opponents lose life and their best creatures.

The main goal in this deck is to cast Ayara from the Command Zone ASAP. To do so, Dark Ritual at the beginning is helpful, but when your opponents realize her value, you will need lands like Cabal Coffers or Cabal Stronghold to help cast her back.

The card advantage in this deck is one of the main strengths. Phyrexian Arena, Midnight Reaper, and Priest of the forgotten gods are key in the sacrifice for good strategy. Although Ayara herself can tap and sacrifice a black creature, so almost every token generator in the deck is a black creature token (Rats, Faeries, Snakes... and Zombies!). This synergy will allow you to play Lolth, the Spider Queen, and the great Liliana, Dreadhorde General to generate more tokens and draw more cards.

To help the plan, almost every creature will be adding life gain strategies thanks to the synergies of Ayara and Zulaport Cutthroat, Vito, Thorn of the Dusk Rose, Falkenrath Noble, and Blood Artist.

Low CMC creatures are one of the main synergies in the deck as well. These creatures will be blocking and could be sacrificed for better options, and then they will come back from the graveyard thanks to their own abilities or a variety of instant or sorceries focused on graveyard synergy.

The best creatures in this deck to help Ayara are Braids, Arisen Nightmare, Jadar, Ghoulcaller of Nephalia, Syr Konrad, the Grim, Morbid Opportunist, Viscera Seer, and Gixean Puppeteer.

If this is not enough to punish your opponents, you can tutor for other options and cast four of the most powerful enchantments in mono black: Bitterblossom (it would help with the engine of sacrifice for draw cards), Exquisite Blood + Sanguine Bond (this combination is an infinite combo that allows you to win the game with gaining only one life) and Contamination (just to mess with your opponents' powerful lands and advantages of mono-colored or multicolored decks).
