Ob Nixilis, Unshackled will win you the game through massive amounts of commander damage by buffing up when you constantly wipe your opponents board of creatures.

I previously built this deck attempting to use my own creatures as a source for pumping up Ob Nixilis, but I was unsatisfied with the speed the deck played at and how it was hard work to have a threatening board state and to maintain it. Recently, I came across a video that changed my perspective on how to best use the second Ob Nixilis, Unshackled ability. I will post the link below as to give credit to a lot of the cards I am now running in this deck.

Playing black is my favourite thing to do in MTG, but unfortunately, spells can get mana intensive in that colour. The ramp cards that I have included are pretty usual: Sol Ring , Mind Stone , Commander's Sphere , Gilded Lotus , Charcoal Diamond , Everflowing Chalice , Nyx Lotus , Jet Medallion , Thran Dynamo , and Sword of the Animist .

Playing a creature and forcing your opponents to sac one of their own can be big value, especially when Ob is on the board. The creatures I have here that force your opponents to sac are as follows: Demon's Disciple , Fleshbag Marauder , Merciless Executioner , Plaguecrafter , and Slum Reaper .

The multiple board wipes and removals -

Creature: Ravenous Chupacabra , Royal Assassin , and Shriekmaw .

Instant/Sorcery: Defile , Erebos's Intervention , Force of Despair (if someone slaps way too many creatures down at once), Snuff Out , Szat's Will , Feed the Swarm , Mutilate , Toxic Deluge , Yawgmoth's Vile Offering .

Combo for an infinitely big Ob Nixilis and 2/2 Zombie tokens: Ashnod's Altar , Grave Titan or Wurmcoil Engine , and Nim Deathmantle . Plus an outlet being Exsanguinate .

"No one gets to play Magic combo": Maralen of the Mornsong and Opposition Agent .

The other cards I included are meant to assist the main idea of the deck. The "helping hand" cards range in this deck range from Dictate of Erebos to help clear bigger board states as you sac creatures with cards like Demon's Disciple , Ad Nauseam for more card advantage, and Grafted Exoskeleton to have the chance to close the game faster.

I would like this deck to be as competitive and synergistic as possible. If anybody has suggestions of similar cards that I am missing that work faster or better, please let me know in the comments.
