I've been working on my Golgari EDH deck for a while - in fact for as long as I've played the format (since 2014 I think). The deck started as an awful Savra-led, Gravepact/sacrifice-themed deck, then turned into an even worse Dredge/reanimator build, and now I think we're approaching the final form. The absolutely awful bug emerging from the cocoon of my distinctly mid brewing is a +1/+1 counter/Hardened Scales-style combo... thing. I'm trying to play Mazirek and then find ways to make him an arbitrarily large insect, go infinite with squirrels or Eldrazi spawn, and then round things out with drain triggers or combat.
