This is aiming to be a 'complete vorthos' deck for Liliana Vess telling her life story so far in a zombie tribal shell.

The Commander is Liliana, Heretical Healer and it contains most of the Liliana planeswalkers excluding Death Wielder and Dark Realms. I have Dark Realms but not in foil and I'm trying to foil out the deck where finances and card availability permits. You can see the progress so far since this list is up-to-date. Some of the cards like Lake of the Dead do not have a foil version.

There are the cards that tell Lili's back story like Dark Dabbling, Tainted Remedy, Demonic Tutor and Necropotence; cards with Lili in the flavor text and cards with her in the art. I've worked to source the 'correct' versions. The rest of the card are mostly zombie/tribal cards trying to stay within the 'necromancer' theme. This means that many of the cards are not the optimized version of an effect for EDH but I'm aiming for flavor over function.

I wanted the 4 demons too but the practicalities are that they don't work in the deck. Griselbrand is banned, Kothoped works against the deck, I don't have a Razaketh and one's not named yet. In their place I have these 'demons' - Sheoldred, Abhorrent Overlord, Overseer of the Damned and Ormendahl, Profane Prince.

The lands are the Graveborn swamps and those with a zombie/dead/tomb flavor.

There are some flavor exceptions - Ghoulcaller Gisa (is a competing necromancer but she's a bomb in a zombie deck), Bojuka Bog, Shoeldred's not a demon, etc but I've done my best to stay 'on flavor' and keep the deck halfway competitive.
