Why do we say we are "equipped" with knowledge, can we equip someone else with it?

Probably, but only at the same time we could cast a sorcery!

Bad puns aside, equipments are strong, and I wanted to try out an equipment build for Arna Kennerud, Skycaptain, even though equiments have much better support in boros () or naya (), I thought it would be fun that my first esper () deck was an equipment value deck instead of a stax and healing deck, or another kind of attrition or combo deck.

the playpattern for this deck is pretty straight: you get some equipments and some creatures on the board, you then equip said creatures with said equipments, you cast Arna Kennerud, Skycaptain and attack immediately with all your equipped creatures to get copies of all your equipments, then you either win or move your equiments and repeat until you have won.

Let's go into further detail though:

In addition to 35 lands the deck runs, I chose to run all 3 talismans, all 3 guild signets, the Sol Ring, the Arcane Signet, and the Thought Vessel to guarantee a strong manabase from early on. In addition to that, the deck runs a couple discounts, both to cast your equiments (Danitha Capashen, Paragon, Etherium Sculptor, and Starnheim Courser), and to equip them to your creatures (Puresteel Paladin, Eowyn, Lady of Rohan, and Forge Anew). In addition to that the deck runs a LOT of effect that can move equipments for free, or very cheap (Danitha, Benalia's Hope, Balan, Wandering Knight, Ardenn, Intrepid Archaeologist, Bruna, Light of Alabaster, and Heavenly Blademaster). Plus, some cards manage to cheat out equipments for free (Danitha, Benalia's Hope, Bruna, Light of Alabaster, Leyline Axe, Masterwork of Ingenuity). Finally The Key to the Vault manges to cheat out any card in the deck, if you want it to.
The deck has quite a few ways to get back to your equipments after they have been destroyed (Mantle of the Ancients, Forge Anew, Ratonhnhake:ton, Danitha, Benalia's Hope, Bruna, Light of Alabaster, Unfinished Business, and Sevinne's Reclamation). And the Lion Sash can be very useful in not letting those pesky reanimator players get to their big drops too early.
Arna Kennerud, Skycaptain's ability has three main sinergies that I think are stronger than the rest: first, the "stacking" buffs, all those auras and equipments that read "equipped/enchanted creature has +1/+1 for each aura/equipment/enchanment" (ex. Thran Power Suit, Adaptive Omnitool etc.); second any aura or equiment that gives the creature the ward effect (for those who don't know, the ward effect stacks on a single creature, so if a creature has ward-1 AND ward-2 any opponent that wishes to target it must pay 1 for the first trigger and 2 for the second trigger, because each instance of ward triggers separetly), and finally any ETB effect, both on the equipments (such as Gold Pan, or Nettlecyst), or on some creatures (notably Kappa Cannoneer). Let's not forget Contractual Safeguard too, that can protect your whole board from most removals and damage thanks to the fact that the shield counters can be doubled by Arna Kennerud, Skycaptain.

At the same time that I made this deck I also made another deck for Arna Kennerud, Skycaptain that is entirely based around auras rather than equipments, that deck is So many aura points!!
