I've been looking for a new commander to build for a while, but nothing really interested me; until Rielle, the Everwise. It's a really cool commander with an interesting payoff, for bad wheel cards that no one played before. Also, it synergizes beautifully with Foil, a card I've been trying to get to work for a while. This deck is semi-budget. There are only a couple of cards that jack up the price (ex. Alhammarret's Archive), and they can be replaced by the cards I've put into the sideboard if you want to go for a cheaper build.

Piloting the Deck

Wheels, wheels, wheels. Use all kinds of effects, such as Tolarian Winds or Dangerous Wager, to discard your hand and get incredible value! And don't worry about discarding too much, there are tons of ways to get stuff back and recast it, like Perpetual Timepiece and Recoup. Surly Badgersaur is an absolute powerhouse in this deck, providing payoffs for every card you discard. There are also plenty of card draw payoffs such as Ominous Seas, to make sure you get as much value as possible off of each card you draw. You can win in this deck either by pinging people for 1 damage with Niv-Mizzet, Parun, Glint-Horn Buccaneer and Psychosis Crawler, or swinging in with an enormous Rielle, taking advantage of Clout of the Dominus and Diviner's Wand.
