My oldest deck, which has gone through many changes. It originated as a Jolrael, Empress of Beasts deck based around creatures and swinging wide. Then it became a deathtouch deck based around Rhonas the Indomitable. I later added in wolves and wolf token cards, and enjoyed using those psuedo-fight effect cards that let you inflict damage directly to creatures. With Commander Legends release, a long-overdue update is in order. The new commanders are Halana, Kessig Ranger and Anara, Wolvid Familiar. They mesh perfectly with this deck's setup. And give me two options to trigger my lieutenant. Also like having only 98 cards in the main. It's a small difference, but I'll take it.

This deck utilizes pseudo-fight effects that inflict monster's power as damage directly to other creatures without putting them at risk of dying by combat. Examples are are Halana, Kessig Ranger, Vivien of the Arkbow, Nature's Way, Rabid Bite, Ram Through, Aggressive Instinct, and Combo Attack. The main combos are Using Lone Wolf, Deathcoil Wurm, or Thorn Elemental with Sword of Body and Mind or Quietus Spike to automatically trigger their effects by redirecting the damage. Another combo(?) is using Citanul Flute with Fauna Shaman and Bow of Nylea. This lets you tap 1 or 2 for a creature using the flute, then tap 1 using fauna shaman to pull out the big guns, and then using bow of nylea to get creatures back in your library, you can set up a cycle effect. Not super efficient, but meh. Holistic Wisdom, Eternal Witness, and Ring of Three Wishes are useful for getting what you need when you need it. Otherwise, +1/+1 counters, wolf tokens and general face-beating. Also a bunch of stuff that's in here just because I love them. (Cough)Dawnstrider(cough)
