This started as an Ode to the original Mortal Kombat, but as I built the deck to compete with the other video game themed decks (my ode to series) I had to expand the roster a bit. I went with the latest version of MK11. It was difficult to find 1 for 1 character cards so some are a bit of a stretch and I am looking for better suggestions. As with these decks, I try to make them playable as well. This is a legendary/big mana style deck with Planeswalkers and X spells used for finishing moves. Many of the Kombatants have abilities that can serve as mana sinks (creating that finishing move/game ending feel). This is version 2.0 and I am hoping to upgrade based on suggestions and as new cards are released. This is a casual deck designed to compete with the other video game themed decks and their power levels.
