Feral Incarnation

Sorcery

Convoke (Your creatures can help cast this spell. Each creature you tap while casting this spell pays for {1} or one mana of that creature's color.)

Put three 3/3 green Beast creature tokens onto the battlefield.

I don't see much purpose for the Roaring Primadox + Thragtusk combo. It's too slow to be any efficient at all. As for cards I'd add I'd add Leatherback Baloth is still a beast but has high power and only a 3 converted Mana cost. I'd also add Garruk Wildspeaker over Garruk, Primal Hunter unless you shift your focus away from big creatures and straight to beast tokens. If that's the case you could add Feral Incarnation instead and cards like Pulse of the Tangle hope this helps.

Hey xram666, thanks for your suggestions :)

I have had a look at Endless Swarm, and also other potentially good epic cards like Eternal Dominion, Neverending Torment, and Undying Flames. My problem with these cards is that 1) I don't feel like its safe to cast them early, so if I happen to draw them to the first Golos, Tireless Pilgrim activation, its kind of a waste; and 2) they are a bit boring. I mean, if I play Neverending Torment, I wont be able to play any more big sorceries for the rest of the game. And playing big sorceries is kind of the point of this deck. That said, it could be really good, especially if I have a Reliquary Tower on the board, and have gotten to cast one of the draw spells. That should easily give me a hand of 15 cards.

I really like Feral Incarnation, and will probably add it right in :D. I've done the comparison on token producers really easy for myself (and maybe a bit stupidly), and I am currently just adding power together. So for most of my token spells, they add up to about 8, like Elemental Masterpiece, which is 4x2 in power. So since 3x3=9, it beats several of the ones I have included :)

The categories are a bit tangled, but I like them the way they are. Some spells are a bit hard to place, like Inspired Ultimatum and also Necrotic Hex, because they could have been placed in more than one category. What I've done is added them in the category which identifies why I'm playing the card. And in the case of Necrotic Hex, I'm playing it as a board wipe variation that is able to clear indestructible creatures. Might switch things around later on though, nothing is set in stone.

Hour of Reckoning is good, and I have thought about playing it, but I just barely felt like not doing it. I don't want to swap out a board wipe that doesn't kill Golos for it, and the ones that don't kill him have nice side effects, like killing all enchantments and artifacts or giving me tokens. It's also a bit scary to let tokens live when I know of quite a few decks that like to spam tokens. In many cases, those are the most important board wipes - Like if your playing against Krenko, Mob Boss, and he has created 300 goblin tokens, but they have summoning sickness and there's no sac outlet. I don't know.. I might have to think more about how well Hour of Reckoning would work in the deck.

Nice deck: +1 from me for sure.

A really interesting card for token production: Endless Swarm. Somewhat dangerous but winning with this card definitely feels satisfying.

Another option for tokens would be Feral Incarnation

By the way. I would additionally add Necrotic Hex in the token category.

With only token aside your commander you can also think about Hour of Reckoning

I really like Jodah decks, would defiantly say Warstorm Surge is worth it as an add and it combos with Enter the Infinate and Omniscience REALLY well for a "I hope you can stop this!" sort of turn.

Ancient Brontodon just feels vanilla in this deck, there are more interesting things than a 9/9 dude without trample or something more scary and harder to deal with. cough Blightsteel Colossus cough

Fusion Elemental is cool and you can cast him without NEEDing Jodah on the field, but same argument as the Brontodon, just boring.

Leyline Prowler and Rattleclaw Mystic are nifty, but nothing will be better than a Birds of Paradise or Noble Hierarch for that early game goodness!

I actuall like Pathrazer of Ulamog, he's big and hard to deal with. Ulamog's Crusher however, I'd rather play one of the Eldrazi Gods directly (depending on how the rest of your metta plays).

I don't understand what Wall of Runes, Feral Incarnation, or Opt do for you. Go for more direct land fetching, fix those colors! (by the way, I like the mana filter ideas, solid back-up plan that doesn't require foolish amounts of expensive lands!)

Peer Through Depths and Sift Through Sands are cute, but why not go bigger or something like Rhystic Study?

I love the direction and it looks like it plays well, but I would take it as more aggressive. Mana-ramp to get Jodah out as soon as you can and just start abusing his power!

Biggest ones I have to suggest: Jade Mage and Reassembling Skeleton. They're monsters. 2 mana for 1 sacrifice? Yes, PLEASE! Ant Queen is also good, similar, and a bigger body.

However if that is not enough- which I'll assume it's not- Artifact Mutation is freaking delicious. Bitterblossom is a staple. Creakwood Liege also pumps the majority of your deck. Daretti, Ingenious Iconoclast is also decent removal and his ult is insane. Descent of the Dragons could be an alternate wincon. Dragonlair Spider looks like garbage but can get out of hand in a hurry. Druid's Call is honestly insane, it's a great deterrent for blockers. Elemental Mastery is the best. Feral Incarnation, because it has convoke, is not so bad either. Necrogenesis is classic. Ogre Slumlord is a baller and a great rattlesnake. Plague of Vermin is a really nice way to put some damage in on your opponents, especially if the political atmosphere is good. Rampaging Baloths is craaazy. Sprouting Thrinax has served me well. Sylvan Offering can make some friends AND some tokens. Verdant Embrace and Verdant Force are good. Wolfcaller's Howl is good I think?

Welcome to the format! The first thing thats jumping out at me is this deck needs ramp. The good thing is you're in Green, so you have a lot of nice options for ramping and colour fixing. Traveler's Amulet is something I'd cut, because you have access to spells that put extra land directly on the battlefield. Rampant Growth, Cultivate, Kodama's Reach, Grow from the Ashes, Harrow and Natural Connection are the types of cards you should be considering. Emmara has lovely Mark Winters art so lets try and make sure we can pay to get her out on the battlefield! Growth Spasm finds land and gets you a token! I try to run 36/7 lands and at least 6 pieces of ramp, but prefer 8-10. The most important thing in EDH is getting to cast your spells.

Sundering Growth fits your populate theme and you're going to find that SO MANY decks in Commander have problem artifacts and enchantments you're going to want to destroy.

Another fun (and very cheap) effect for GW tokens is Glare of Subdual. I don't think its essential, but its a nice trick.

When I had a token deck, if I was running Decimator of the Provinces like you are I liked to run From Beyond. Gets you a token every turn but then searching out your big eldrazi when your ready for a big attack is great. Awakening Zone also gives you a free token once a turn. AZ is like $3 as of this posting, most everything else so far I've mentioned should be a buck or under. Going up in price to $7 or $8 is Anointed Procession, which is the cheapest token-doubling effect I think you can get right now.

As a general rule for Commander, always make sure you run ramp removal. Things like Swords to Plowshares and Return to Dust are really good in the format and will almost never be a dead card. If theme is important, something like Feral Incarnation (or any other high cmc spell) can become Ezuri's Predation.
