ULTIMA, ORIGIN OF OBLIVION - A MAN LOOKING TO TOUCH (YOUR LANDS) V1.0 10.30.25

In Final Fantasy XVI Ultima is the reason for the spread of the blight, he literally sucks the life from the land, and his card is no different by sucking the color from any land he sets his sight on and blighting it to ensure nothing will sustain life there ever again. On brand for Ultima, he taps our wastes for additional colorless mana. Just like his plan of blighting the land so everything will die and his "people" can swoop in and take over the planet, that will be our goal as well, alter our opponents land base until we are strong enough to send our "people" in and finish the job... Eldrazi, our people are Eldrazi.

Note: Tapped out suggests this deck is a 1 on the bracket scale, I don't know if I agree, but I wont pretend to know more than the internet.

(The sideboard are cards that are either in the mail, or need to be ordered just to keep organized.)

COMBOS:

Basalt Monolith + Rings of Brighthearth = Infinite Colorless Mana | Able to go into any deck, this infinite combo can generate big plays out of nowhere as long as you have six mana available in one turn, or three mana on two well timed turns. With Basalt Monolith UNTAPPED, cast Rings of Brighthearth and copy the tap effect from Basalt Monolith to generate three colorless mana, at this point use the copied effect of ROB (for a cost of two colorless) to generate another three, and then use the remainder to untap Basalt Monolith, rinse and repeat gaining one colorless infinitely.

Dark Depths + Mirage Mirror = Cheating Marit Lage | Simply have both pieces on the field, and activate Mirage Mirror to copy Dark Depths, since Dark Depths is not entering the battlefield it will not have any counters, and in turn will net you a 20/20 with flying and indestructible.

(Note: Vesuva, and Thespian Stage can also do the same effect of Mirage Mirror to cheat Marit Lage out.)

Basalt Monolith + Forsaken Monument = Infinite Colorless Mana | Forsaken Monument needs to be on the field, with Basalt Monolith also on the board untapped. Forsaken Monument states that whenever we tap a permanent for mana add an additional colorless mana. Basalt Monolith would then tap for four colorless mana, and untap for three netting one each time.

Blinkmoth Well + Winter Orb = Land Lockout | Thanks to Profet93 for bringing this little synergy to my attention. With Blinkmoth Well on the field and untapped having two mana open, use the secondary ability to tap Winter Orb on the end step of the opponent that goes immediately before you. This will allow you to untap your lands, and in turn untap Winter Moon locking your opponents out of untapping their lands.
