Spears! Spears for everyone!

Having seen Ignacio of Myra's Marvels, I couldn't help but wonder about all the different ways that one could partner him up. In the end, Spears with Thrasios, Triton Hero actually utilizes all the colors and is an easy mana outlet for all the treasure we'll be making.

So how do you define a "spear"? It's moderately subjective, so here are the criteria I used

  1. A long-hafted weapon
  2. Designed to be wielded two-handed
  3. With a point usable for thrusting and/or slicing.
  4. Not utilized like a wizard's staff primarily for casting spells or working magic

This means that I'm counting items like spears, tridents and bidents, but not staffs, poleaxes or halberds.

Every card that isn't a land has a spear in it. This means there isn't much of a theme besides "Spears" and "Good cards"!
