Hahaha Metropolis39 Trust me... They are back breaking.
When not dealt with, Winding Constrictor is a house. Glint-Sleeve Siphoner will bury you in Card Advantage when paired with the snake and even more so with Gonti's Machinations. Bloodhall Ooze can be a T3 5/5 and a T4 9/9. Olivia Voldaren will steal your creatures once you've spent all of your early removal. And Woodland Wanderer is often a 6/6 or 7/7 Trample with Vigilance.
Play against it and see what you can pull off. Energy is entirely broken and under represented.

Solid build. It always shocks me how lacking Managorger Hydra is in Modern. If they have spot removal for it then so be it. But it becomes a problem in a hurry if left alone. I encourage you to look into energy as a way of smoothing mana. (Evolving wilds just doesn't cut it.) Check out Woodland Wanderer too. +1

twechsler, as far as I know, only the creator of a deck can look at the acquireboard. So for me to evaluate any cards there, you'd have to move them to the maybeboard first. I'll give my thoughts on some of the aforementioned cards for now at least.
Woodland Wanderer needs to be cast with Converge 2 to be decent and 3+ to really be good, so I probably wouldn't add it to a mono-green deck. For Wakewood Elemental, I'm assuming you meant either Wakeroot Elemental or Whisperwood Elemental . I really like the latter in midrange decks and would have no qualms about adding it here. The former, on the other hand, costs too much to activate its ability while leaving your lands open to creature removal. Liege of the Tangle sort of does the same thing but better, although you do need to be very cautious of Wrath of God s with it too lest you immediately lose all of your permanents. Omnath, Locus of Mana is a very insane card in the right circumstances, hence its similarly insane price tag. I've seen players go off with Nykthos, Shrine to Nyx and Gaea's Cradle to produce hundreds of mana in a turn without any major combos and save up for something ridiculous like Helix Pinnacle or Finale of Devastation . In your deck, it looks more like you want to be using all of your mana on each turn to curve out into larger and larger threats. Omnath would still be good, but I don't know that he's worth the price right now. Speaking of expensive cards, Wurmcoil Engine might be something to look for since it's both a strong bomb to ramp into and has deathtouch on 2 of its 3 bodies. Asceticism is another that's good for keeping guys alive.
A card I missed talking about in my last comment is Predator Ooze . It's definitely interesting and I see it working well in a Hardened Scales stompy deck alongside its +1/+1 buddies, Experiment One , Pelt Collector , Avatar of the Resolute , etc. If you're not running ways to take advantage of counters, maybe Steel Leaf Champion would perform better in the 3-drop slot. I'd still be more inclined to put a mana dork or Cultivate or Harrow or something there instead. It just depends how fast you want the deck to be. Stompy doesn't usually run many cards that cost more than 4 CMC, so you'd need some major tweaks to move in that direction.

Prowling Serpopard and Vexing Shusher are good sideboard cards for control match ups.
You should move your sideboard to maybeboard and make an actual sideboard.
Right now I don't think there's a reason to run Dryad Arbor apart from a surprise blocker from a fetchland so one is plenty no need to run 3 and risk them being bolted/enter tapped.
Woodland Wanderer and Shaman of the Great Hunt seem kind of clunky. I feel you should put more instant speed interaction so that you get further benefit from being able to flash in a creature.
Since you already have two mana-fixer creature ramp cards if you run more basics you could run Blood Moon in either mainboard or sideboard. If you go this rout consider Simian Spirit Guide .
Since your pay-offs are mana intensive consider Search for Tomorrow as aditional ramp that doesn't cost much.

Yeah, I put it in since it could be a good game finisher if your guys get buffed enough from combat damage with Shaman of the Great Hunt since its like a no sac fling, but I have never played with it before but it does just seem decent at most.
I just took out a Kronch Wrangler for a Temur Ascendancy since the haste and the card draw is really good from the testing. Goreclaw was also REALLY good in testing so far since i can play most of my dudes for 2 or 1 mana with it. Im also unsure about Woodland Wanderer which was in my original deck back in that standard since i can play it as a 6/6 with Beastcaller Savant or Sylvan Caryatid (Im not sure which to use but i do like the haste and being able to attack if needed). back then Temur Battle Rage was insane and always won games so Im thinking about adding another since it has still done great, and Im thinking about replacing Opt with Anticipate (also what i played in the original deck) since it can dig deeper for answers or dudes.
Bonecrusher Giant is also a beast. especially with goreclaw out. 3 mana for a shock and a 4/3 is really nice. same with goreclaws trample anthem affect with rhonas' deathtouch.

Incandescent Soulstroke is a must-have in Elementals as it is a lord and allows you to cheat out creatures.
Smokebraider is also better than the current mana dorks as it taps for any mana.
I also do suggest you splash into 5 colors as you have a wider variety of elementals to choose from. While I recognize and respect your want to stay budget, having a 50$ limit instead of 36$ will help this deck's viability significantly. Unclaimed Territory would help with mana fixing Nova Chaser is extremely powerful You also said you had difficulty dealing with big creatures, Shriekmaw is an elemental that would give you some removal. Woodland Wanderer can also be a 6\6

Dragonmaster Outcast is fantastic. Sometimes I play it early just to see if they have removal since I can get it back with Den Protector or Greenwarden of Murasa . Woodland Wanderer might be sketchy include because of Converge but I figured an on-flavor (elemental) 4/4 for 4 with upside isn't half bad. And I've cast it with Unknown Shores and/or Shaman of Forgotten Ways a few times to get an extra counter or two.
