Tarmogoof -
Welcome to my page! Thanks for coming by. Mono Black and Jund are the archetypes I prefer to build and play. Modern is by far my favorite format. I've been playing on and off for years since Mercadian Masks. My first deck was the "Apocalypse Theme Deck - Swoop" and I've been hooked ever since. I took a long break around the time of 9th or 10th Edition to concentrate on school while unbeknownst to me, Modern was developing into a hot commodity. I came back to Magic during M15 and have been a student ever since. I dug out my old box of cards and threw together some pretty terrible decks before learning about Modern. I took a stab at Modern with one of these dumpster fires and got roasted by Grishoalbrand and I quickly realized I was doing it wrong. I eventually put together Modern 8-Rack which morphed into Mono Black Devotion. Both did about average at FNM. I then got smacked around by Jund and instantly knew that THAT was the deck I wanted to play.
Please feel free to post any decks to my wall that you'd like feedback on. I enjoy a good Budget build and the occasional Jank. Have a look around and check out my decks. (I have a bunch) Happy travels on your journey through the Multiverse.
Here are some of my current decks. I update them frequently as I play MTG whenever I get a free moment. Be it here through playtesting or at my LGS.
