I've always wanted to build a Thromok deck and the partner commanders provide new ways to approach it. Not having thromok as the commander allows me to have more colors, have more reliable tokens, and my opponents don't kill me instantly if I have 5 tokens. This is a budget deck, which is to say I'm using mostly cards I own and a handful of things I can buy for cheap to really make it shine. With that said the deck should also be able to function perfectly fine without thromok, leaning heavily toward Tana.
