I decided to turn my Gargos, Vicious Watcher deck, I'm the Giant Hydra That Makes All of the Rules into a Zaxara, the Exemplary deck. He seems like a really cool commander who gives me a lot more value from casting all these X cost hydras (and some others), plus gives me access to 2 more colors. Normally I don't run infinites, but I thought I'd break that trend and try out Freed from the Real, which when attached to Zaxara makes infinite blue mana. With this infinite mana, we have plenty of ways to win, such as Exsanguinate or my personal favorite, milling your opponent with Blue Sun's Zenith. This deck isn't very well-optimized yet, as I put it together from my old Gargos deck in just a couple hours and haven't gotten around to playtesting anything. I can already tell I'm leaning too hard into green, although since I want this to be a hydra deck that's pretty hard to avoid. If anyone has any suggestions to make this deck better, please let me know! I don't play black very much, so I'm fairly certain there are some obvious choices I simply don't know about.
