Krovikan Horror

Creature — Horror Spirit

At end of turn, if Krovikan Horror is in your graveyard with a creature card directly above it, you may return Krovikan Horror to your hand.

(1), Sacrifice a creature: Krovikan Horror deals 1 damage to target creature or player.

You should ensure you always have something to feed Bontu by using recurrable creatures! Reassembling Skeleton, Bloodsoaked Champion, Nether Traitor, Krovikan Horror and Bloodghast are all good options. Sanitarium Skeleton and Tenacious Dead are less ideal but still have potential. Perhaps Gravecrawler, depending on how many zombies you end up with.

Phyrexian Reclamation, Disturbed Burial, Palace Siege and Grim Harvest are other options for recurring your more valuable creatures.

Once you're set up with all of this sacrificial fodder, why not make the most of it? Attrition, Grave Pact, Dictate of Erebos, Vampiric Rites, Ashnod's Altar, Bone Splinters and Gate to Phyrexia give you valuable uses for those expendable creatures (or makes the most of their deaths.) This way you can regularly take swings with Bontu without having to use his ability every time!

I play in a play group that has tons of Indestructible creatures, I simply need the -1/-1 theme the deck has going for it, on top of the Grave Pact abilities. The Plagued Rusalka has saved me from Prossh, Skyraider of Kher so many times.

Krovikan Horror, Yes. I love it, its in when I get time and money. I have never tried Pilgrim's Eye, I suppose its time to test that.

I have used Hell's Caretaker it only works on your upkeeps and it casts for 4 mana, I will stick with the Apprentice Necromancer so I can get stuff back on my opponents turns.

I like the idea of Carnage Altar, I just feel it costs so much mana to use. Even still I think its better than Culling Dais. I would love a Scarecrone, I just don't think its worth the price.

We've got a guy who runs hand hate all ready, and it works great. I just don't like it, to all those who are curious about it, it wins games.

You're right to suggest grave hate too, I'll tinker with the deck and see what I come up with.

Thank you @Force_of_Willb for the suggestions, I do wonder though why you would take tree of perdition out? I just tested it, and it seemed fine.

Suggestions:

For Card Draw: Gate to the Afterlife, Carnage Altar, Scarecrone, and/or Altar's Reap better than Sign in Blood

For Land Ramp: Wild-Field Scarecrow, Pilgrim's Eye

Graveyard Hate: Heap Doll, Martyr of Bones

additional Life Drain Effects: Death Cultist, Gnawing Zombie, Krovikan Horror

Discard package: Augur of Skulls, Brain Weevil, Nezumi Bone-Reader

Hell's Caretaker over Apprentice Necromancer

Token Generators: Triskelavus, Pentavus, Thopter Squadron

1 v 1 game suggestion for unfun Hope of Ghirapur

Suggestions to remove: Necropede, corrosive mentor, plague myr, plagued rusalla, tree of perdition, sign in blood, death denied, Jar of Eyeballs,

hubatish on Atraxa's horrors

Thrummingbird is the horror I associate with Atraxa, glad it's in here. Why Quicksilver Amulet though? Your most expensive card is Avenger and you barely even save mana on that. Phyrexian Swarmlord seems strong for infect, though I'm not seeing any of those creatures. Did you cut them?

The Gitrog Monster is powerful individually.

Otherwise, there seem to be a lot of horror creatures that like discard -

Mindslicer is quite a powerful effect.Thought Gorger wheels you and synergizes with proliferate.Wharf Infiltrator loots. Advanced Stitchwing and some other Zombies can reanimate themselves. Krovikan Horror brings itself back so you can discard it again.

I run Krovikan Horror and Mindslicer in my Jund EDH The Legend Never Dies

Anyway, that was just me searching for cool horrors and looking at themes. +1 for tribe!
