Dawnfeather Eagle Discussion

So, since this isn't standard anymore what will you change? They took away Spirits, but you could try out the Avens for control and have a pretty decent deck. Aven Mindcensor, Nimble Obstructionist, Dauntless Aven, Aven Wind Guide, Tah-Crop Elite, Aven of Enduring Hope, and Dawnfeather Eagle are just a few. Maybe not the best, but it gives you a super cheap tribal until you can come up with something new.

I'm playing my second game and already found a salty player lol.

He decided that playing a Dawnfeather Eagle was too good and I shouldn't be in the Just Starting room (when my deck is mostly 2-ofs and nearly only comons...)

It's slightly annoying that he/she didn't concede the game, but decided to time out with 18+ mins on the clock

Its actually kind of counter-intuitive. The untap can only be done at sorcery speed, so either your creatures had to be exerted befroe hand, or you do in Mani phase II. Dawnfeather Eagle would be better as its the same mana cost, but when it ETB's it lets you full swing and exert with a boost.

Took second at the midnight prerelease at my lgs. Went 4-0-1 with a fun deck. First round I won game one; then game two we each had massive boardstates but neither could get ahead (went to time for the draw). Then 2-0; four in a row

Somehow I completely neglected pretty much all of the major components that make up kaladesh. Energy, vehicles, revolt, servos/thopters... shit I didn't even have flying

is good. Hidden Stockpile does work, I was scared. Dawnfeather Eagle can turn the tides in a stalemate

is crazy strong. I think won first.
