Tah-Crop Elite

Creature — Bird Warrior

Flying

You may exert Tah-Crop Elite as it attacks. When you do, creatures you control get +1/+1 until end of turn. (An exerted creature won't untap during your next untap step.)

Serbes of the Tah-Crop

Legendary Planeswalker - Serbes

You may pay rather than pay the cycling cost for the first card you cycle each turn.

0 Whenever you cycle a card this turn, put a loyalty counter on ~.

-2 Whenever you draw your second card this turn, create a 1/1 white Warrior token with vigilance and a 1/1 blue Bird token with Flying.

-7 You may cast cards with cycling from your graveyard this turn. If a card cast this way is put into a graveyard, exile it instead.

Serbes is an aven planeswalker from Amonkhet. Whether she be an ibis-like one like Aven Wind Mage or an eagle-like one like Tah-Crop Elite is up to you. Whichever you think looks cooler.

I feel like I'm becoming a parody of myself in this thread because all seem to do is make Amonkhet cards. lol

How about another non-human planeswalker. Say... a bison or buffalo. Similar to Angrath.

JuQ on War Master Aurelia's Humans & Soldiers

You could really get a lot of value out of creatures with exert, you untap the every turn with Aurelia and on top of that they gain vigilance with the trumpet.Devoted Crop-Mate, Angel of Condemnation, Tah-Crop Elite, Glorybringer.

More triggers when attack: Token creation: Brimaz, King of Oreskos, Hero of Bladehold, Launch the Fleet, Captain's Claws.
Cast a lotta things Etali, Primal Storm.

Maybe you will need a sacrifice outlet for all those tokens Goblin Bombardment or the cheaper and worse Makeshift Munitions.

You will inevitably run out of cards in your hand, it's a Boros deck after all. Here are some ways to refill it: Ghirapur Orrery, Staff of Nin, Culling Dais, The Immortal Sun (a bit pricy but it's really good), Loreseeker's Stone, Oracle's Vault.
Some equipments Mask of Memory, Rogue's Gloves, Skullclamp, Infiltration Lens.

This equipment is just bananas on any red combat legend Tenza, Godo's Maul. And also this one Hero's Blade.

True Conviction, Waves of Aggression more damage, more combats.

It comes to my mind more suff that trigger when you attack Captain's Claws, Goblin Rabblemaster, Hero of Bladehold, Brimaz, King of Oreskos, Launch the Fleet, Soltari Champion, Accorder Paladin, Goblin Wardriver, Hero of Oxid Ridge, Wingmate Roc, Frontline Medic, Firemane Avenger.

Or when they deal combat damage Prophetic Flamespeaker Skeleton Key, Mask of Memory, Rogue's Gloves, Specter's Shroud, Destructive Urge, Markov Blademaster, Slith Ascendant, Blinding Angel, Falkenrath Marauders and any of the "sword of A and B".

And more Extert Angel of Condemnation, Tah-Crop Elite, Glorybringer.

I'm always looking for a Boros deck to run the Sunforger too bad you have so few instants.
Card draw is hard in Boros, so I'd also try to use Staff of Nin, The Immortal Sun together with the Ghirapur Orrery you already included.

I hope you find something useful among these cards.

So, since this isn't standard anymore what will you change? They took away Spirits, but you could try out the Avens for control and have a pretty decent deck. Aven Mindcensor, Nimble Obstructionist, Dauntless Aven, Aven Wind Guide, Tah-Crop Elite, Aven of Enduring Hope, and Dawnfeather Eagle are just a few. Maybe not the best, but it gives you a super cheap tribal until you can come up with something new.

thanks liljramos88, what ended up happening is: I knew I wanted to make a deck with Oketra's Monument. I already had one, so I bought 3. Then I grabbed what i thought was useful and made the deck. Only then did I decide to be cheap and bought another Cloudblazer, another Aven Wind Guide and 3 Tah-Crop Elite.

I do want Dusk / Dawn, but I'm cheap, so I'm going to wait a lil bit xP

The thing with Temmet, Vizier of Naktamun is that it only helps one dude, and you can only have one on the battlefield. Personally, I don't get the appeal of Champion of Wits. Between Sacred Cat and Proven Combatant, I went with the combatant 'cuz it's better if the game goes on for to long. I did thought about Anointer Priest, but I ruled it out since I want to put as much pressure on the board as possible.

Thanks for the suggestions. Thou the only one I like is Dusk / Dawn, I feel like you have an idea for the deck that's a bit different from mine. But hey! Try it for a spin, if you fell like it xD

Errast on Samut, The Warrior Queen!

Looking back on previous comments, I realize I've made the mistake of not actually including early game warriors, which is a crying shame, as it's likely the best strategy with such a poorly supported tribe (poorly supported in these colors).

So here GemKnightDante, is a long list of creatures that cost 4 or less (one exception), that would fit quite well in a warrior themed deck. Unfortunately, the way warriors work, you'll likely be going heavy into boros, and splashing green, but I'll try my best.

Exert Creatures: Missed quite a lot of these on my first search, which is why I was so biased against them at first, but now I realize there's an Exert lord! Throw as many as you can in, they're a great subtheme for the deck. Also include Ahn-Crop Champion here.

Any creature that grows bigger: Just what the deck needs, as I mentioned in my first post. These cards are cheap in the early game, and only get stronger as the game goes on. Lord of Shatterskull Pass is an honourable mention, as he can wipe boards clean for your warriors late game.

Voltaic Brawler: An un-assuming enough creature. Doesn't really scale, but he can brawl with the best in the early game. As with any good warrior, he's efficiently statted, and costed. His energy ability makes him a beast against superfriends, as he'll kill any early game 'walkers before they can get going.

Dragon Hunter was a strange ommission from the first draft considering you said you were facing a dragon deck. Throw him in and he'll block the big nasties for you all day.

Neheb, the Eternal: The minotaur, the myth, the legend. This card is leading my current favorite edh deck, and so I'll vouch that this will easily pay for itself in a very short amount of time.

Hunted Troll: But this card gives my opponents blockers! Yes, but not all of them, and it's an 8/4 with Regenerate. Other than being a fantastic creature, this guy doesn't do much, but isn't being an 8/4 warrior with regenerate enough?

Anyways, the goal of this 3rd (and hopefully last) list was to give you some early game cards so you could drop your cuerve down a bit. Cards like Furystoke Giant, and Gisela, Blade of Goldnight only get better the more creatures you can field after all.

The trouble with Samut, Voice of Dissent is that I would have to lose Glorybringer and I feel like it wouldn't be worth it. I don't really like the expense of Tah-Crop Elite and I feel like Combat Celebrant and Devoted Crop-Mate are better 3 drop options.

Vaan on My first deck.

I recommend the following changes:

Cut 2 Colossapede, 2 Bitterbow Sharpshooters, 2 Wall of Forgotten Pharaohs, 4 Aven of Enduring Hope, 2 Winged Shepherd, 1 Sandwurm Convergence, 1 Greater Sandwurm, 1 Mirage Mirror, 2 Life goes on.

Add 3 Rhonas's Stalwart, 1 Resilient Khenra, 1 Gideon's Defeat, 1 Dauntless Aven, 1 Tah-Crop Elite, 1 Vizier of the True, 1 Rhet-Crop Spearmaster, 1 Trial of Solidarity, 1 Sunscourge Champion, 2 Bitterblade Warrior, 1 Unwavering Initiate, 1 Initiate's Companion , 1 Naga Vitalist, 1 Act of Heroism.

The biggest problem of your current version is the mana curve, you have way too many mana intensive cards and very little ramp, so i would cut the 5+ CMC cards for the aggressive 2 and 3 drops from your card pool and play a more aggro version of the deck.
