Kibo deck for artifact destruction + tokens.

Not pure monkey tribal, as most monkeys are pretty bad car - each creature should make some synergy with artifact destruction / provide value beside being creature with "monkey" type.

The deck scales pretty fast after you have your commander on the battlefield. There are a lot of effects that do sth when counters are put or double their numbers so it gets wild pretty fast. I noticed that usually the Kibo tapped ability should be used about once per game as there is always some target to be sacrificed when atacking afterwards.

Random info:

  • with Chameleon Colossus it is pretty easy to oneshot palyer out of nowhere

  • Choosing creature with effects like Metallic Mimic is a bit tricky. In most cases you should choose Ape, as there are much more of them in the deck, but the commander is a Monkey so it really depends on the hand you have.

  • There is some protection in the deck, but because most of the creatures are low cost, it is pretty hard to make a come-back after someone wipes the board :(

  • the deck has some suboptimal cards because it is not meant to be hyper competetive and they have cool monkey flavor. I am looking at you Monkey Cage and Gorilla War Cry

Extra:

  • prepare custom banana tokens so they palyer maybe hate you less while you destroy their stuff

  • if you wan't to keep at least one friend after few games, you can make custom banana meeples for +1/+1 counters

  • bonus points if you make gorilla war cry irl after palying Gorilla War Cry
