Tarrian's Soulcleaver

Legendary Artifact — Equipment

Equipped creature has vigilance

Whenever another artifact or creature is put into a graveyard from the battlefield, put a +1/+1 counter on equipped creature.

Equip (: Attach this to target creature you control. Equip only as a sorcery. This enters the battlefield unattached and stays on the battlefield if the creature this card is attached to leaves the battlefield.)

I should probably slot in Heroic Intervention. The nice thing about this deck is that even if a combo piece is destroyed, it's fairly easy to recur it thanks to Glissa, the Traitor. And I'm running Foundry Inspector as my primary cost reduction. I could probably add in Cloud Key for some redundancy. I've actually tried Semblance Anvil before, and I just wasn't as big a fan of it.

Deathsprout I can cut. Probably to add in some more reliable ramp or removal.

Phyrexian Fleshgorger is a remnant of when I was running a Birthing Pod/Dross Scorpion combo chain in the deck, since I needed a good seven drop that could either be a threat or fodder. With cards like Cranial Plating or Tarrian's Soulcleaver, it can get stupid big and really hard to interact with short of a boardwipe.

Portal to Phyrexia is a pet/favorite card of mine in this deck. It's a splashy finish, and has some thematic/lore wins attached. If you read some of my other deck primers, you'll see that I'm a follower of the Vorthos/lore playstyle, so I sometimes end up playing some cards that might be better thematically rather than actually effective haha.

Love human tribal, here are some cards I think would go well.

Victory's Envoy, putting the +1/+1 on your commander and all you creatures is equivalent to +2/+2 to all your creatures every turn!

Loran of the Third Path, this is one of the best political machines, make a friend at the table. Also doubles as some removal.

Orzhov Advokist, You put 2 counters on your commander every upkeep, and if any other player wants to put two counters on one of their creatures, no problem, they just aren't allowed to attack you for any entire turn, what a trade off!

Aragorn and Arwen, Wed, a card I haven't had the chance to playtest yet, but seems good.

Archetype of Courage, makes attacking into you unmanageable.

Forgotten Ancient, I know it isn't human, but holy crap a bunch of counters for your commander.

Tarrian's Soulcleaver, more counters for you commander, especially if your meta uses a lot of treasures!

My only other suggestion maybe to add more lands, and get some more ramps spells, you look a bit low in that area.

Man generating 6 treasures per turn seems like so much fun. You might like these: Summoning Station, Aetherworks Marvel, Tarrian's Soulcleaver, Moriok Rigger, Dan Lewis, Food Fight, Charforger

I was quite happy with Lost Caverns of Ixalan. My Burakos and Isshin decks each got about 2-3 new cards, and some of my others got at least 1 new one. It's pretty easy to miss newer cards with how many new ones get cranked out each set lol.

Changeling Outcast is cool, but I think it gets a bit more mileage in Ninjutsu decks that care a bit more about connecting with unblocked attackers. Since Outcast can't block, the Vigilance from Tarrian's Soulcleaver is a little wasted lol, but it can get pretty big.

Lich-Knights' Conquest might be of interest as a potential team recursion spell that you can use your Treasures for.

Crow_Umbra , wow, I really haven't been paying attention to the new Lost Caverns of Ixalan! I love Preacher of the Schism! Thank you so much!

There are so many good cards. For example, Solemn Recruit that can get big by sacrificing a Treasure each turn, and Tarrian's Soulcleaver, that can make the unblockable Changeling Outcast a good attacker. But, I think you are right about him, as there isn't enough space for a cycle of "Swords" to make great use of him. So many options... Thank you for the suggestions!

And I'll definitely put Preacher of the Schism in the Mainboard!
