Deck made for a friend as a surprise idea. Hope he likes it. Yes, remove the basic lands so you can fix the mana better using whatever you want. Use Open the Armory to find Darksteel Plate or Shielded by Faith attack with the raiders and myriads without much fear of losing the original. Use Blade of Selves on anything that doesn't have Myriad like Giant Adephage, Champion of Lambholt or Cemetery Protector. Maybe and sideboard lists are mostly for flavor or fun alternatives.
