Introducing a fun and interactive, and sometimes powerful color changing deck. Blind Seer leads the way with his lack luster repeatable ability to show off just why colors matter.

When I moved to a new city I was excited to meet all the new players at the LGS. I brought my favorite and most fine tuned deck featuring Edgar Markov as the commander. The very first pod I ended up in had two other players running Edgar. It was then I realized I was running a very popular commander, and call me a hipster, but I didn’t like it. I didn’t want to be the guy who shows up and people roll their eyes “oh, another Edgar Markov deck, how original…”

That’s when I met Blind Seer. What a strange ability he has, but more importantly he’s not very popular. So I sat off on a mission to build around this blind fella, and the results were much more fun than I ever expected.

The MVPs: Coming in at 3rd place is Painter's Servant he can set the game to a single color (usually blue) and make using our others ‘colors matter’ easier to use. Our number 2 slot goes to Glamerdye. Man is this card awesome! Seldom have a seen a card that permanently changes the text of another card for the remainder of the game. Glamerdye can take a decent card draw engine like Insight and hack it to be instead of green, the most relevant color at the table. Glamerdye can change Sword of Light and Shadow to give us protection from red instead of white. And this can be done at instant speed! What’s even better is we can cast Galmerdye MULTIPLE TIMES! Its retrace ability is what sets this card over the top, and is well worth the cost. And our number 1 slot is going to Muddle the Mixture. Muddle the mixture is a two mana counter spell. Hey, two mana counterspells are good and all, but what sets it over the top is its transmute ability. Need some removal? Transmute for Resculpt or Reality Shift. Need some mana? We can get Arcane Signet, Mind Stone, or many of the other two mana rocks we have going for us. So not only can it be a Counterspell, a mana rock, or removal, but it can also be either of the other two mvps! Muddle the Mixture IS Glamerdye it IS Painters Servant. Best card in the deck, hands down.

Win Conditions: Blind Seer combos with Dismiss into Dream to pick off all our opponents creatures or Willbreaker to just steal our opponents creatures. Llawan, Cephalid Empress and Painter's Servant on blue shuts our opponents out from casting creatures, couple this with Douse modified to blue with Glamerdye and we should be able to just win from there. Alternatively, though we typically use the swords for protection and color change shenanigans, this deck CAN win via commander damage if we control our opponents hard enough.
