The goal is to drown the table in whatever the best creature in play is. If everyone is playing wimpy weenies, then you get a big scary kraken, leviathan, or the Mindleech Mass in play and copy that instead.

There's enough mana of any color abilities to use activated abilities of other stuff as well. The ability to make lots of different colors also makes Mastermind's Acquisition the ultimate answer. Grab Disenchant or Overrun or whatever you need.

Confiscate, In Bolas' Clutches, and Evil Twin are excellent answers to commanders.

Fog Bank plus Helm of the Host will drive people with creature based plans crazy.
