Hey Man! Cool deck idea, perhaps I can help a bit.

First off, both Pyrohemia and Scourge of Kher Ridges as well as any way to recur them (in case they are destroyed or the board is wiped) are probably best here.

Obviously Firespout , Pyroclasm , Crush the Weak , Fiery Confluence and Anger of the Gods are good options for you to ping or clear boards. Some of the odd ones are Hail Storm and Magma Vein . Chaos Maw and Cinder Giant are cool options here as well.

Fights are great if you pick on smaller creatures, Gruul Ragebeast and Magus of the Arena come to mind here. As far as other creatures go, Raging Swordtooth is cool too.

Devastate is pricey but lets you build a board first. I'm not sure if Sporeweb Weaver is on your radar or not, but I hope it is now!

Needs Utopia Sprawl, since it works great with Arbor Elf. Sakura-Tribe Elder might help ramp as well. You can also play Hornet Sting and Hail Storm to damage your own phytohydras and get copies of them.

Hello there! I don't see anything huge you're missing (other than lands), but I definitely think you should at least consider Sol Ring, Cultivate, Kodama's Reach, Eternal Witness, Mystical Tutor, Plasm Capture, Counterspell, and probably Blue Sun's Zenith and Stroke of Genius as well. If you're looking for cards to cut to make room for lands, I would start with the following. A lot of those cards are for what appears to be an Edric subtheme; I'd stick to just one plan, making a lot of mana and killing your opponents with it.

In any case, good luck! Feel free to let me know if you want some more suggestions!

I think without Pyroclasm, Whipflare, or Hail Storm you will have to fold by turn 4. This will not survive against tribal aggro (goblins, elves, merfolk), infect, affinity, zoo, suicide zoo, or burn. Tribal decks in particular are rather cheap to build and are very popular due to their efficiency. The path of least resistance would be to shift your curve to the left and try to have a more Gaussian distribution of mana costs, rather than the bi-modal distribution you have proposed. I am not trying to be asinine, but rather save you from being slaughtered on the competitive scene. I have learned that if you have a new concept that you would like to make competitive in modern, you have to ensure that your deck still includes a majority of the paradigmatic 'good cards' that fall within your colors and branch out from there. That being said, I would suggest you swap out some of the very dragon-centric cards (Dragon Tempest, Sarkhan, Sarkhan's triumph) for a larger removal suite.

TheHelvault Sandstorm sadly isn't modern legal. I've been looking for a replacement but the only thing I've come across is Rain of Blades and Hail Storm... Great deck otherwise!
