This version forgoes black in favor of blue to minimize the amount of dead cards. Melira, Sylvok Outcast and Viscera Seer are pretty bad on their own. Cutting them out makes room for more relevant cards, like Vendillion Clique or Loxodon Smiter.

One piece of neat tech I added to this build is Eiganjo Castle and Okina, Temple to the Grandfathers. There's so many good legendary creatures in Bant under 3 CMC. So far, I've been happy with these. I'm not playing Minamo, School at Water's Edge because of how tight the mana base is. If I had room for another mono-blue land, it would be an obvious addition.
