My friends and I run a league where every month we attempt to create a deck on a theme for less than 50$ (as determined by the lowest possible market price on tcgplayer) This month we're using Planeswalkers who can't normally be commanders and I ended up with Nahiri. Also basic lands, your commander, a command tower and a sol ring do not count towards the budget. Anyway I decided to build a boros combo deck based around cards like Boros Reckoner and Spitemare as well as other life gain and damage based shenanigans. Essentially use cards that deal damage to your opponent when they're dealt damage then make them indestructible and finally cast haymakers like Blasphemous Act to finish the game off. Anyway, what you think? If you like the deck you can use commanders other than Nahiri but she's handy in finding combo pieces since she filters well and can even search them out with her ultimate.
