Maybeboard

Other (1)

This deck does two things:

1: Mana sinks. The commander, as well as a few other cards in the deck, eat mana like nobody's business. Extra lands are never wasted, which is a good philosophy in monogreen. Most of the ramp is in the forms of creatures grabbing lands, because creatures are the best topdecks (Zoologist, etc) but lands trigger landfall.

2: Deck control. The best part of green is that it's so good at being blue. Control your topdeck, card advantage things directly into the board, and then draw even more. A few graveyard recursions complement the theme, in case of removal or mill.

Bonus: Lands. A few landfall cards complement the endless quests for more mana in play.

All in all, this deck needs just one boost - a mana-doubler (Vernal Bloom, Keeper of Progenitus, etc) or a token doubler (Primal Vigor, etc.) to ramp up from nonthreatening to lethal in one turn. Start a turn with a dozen lands, parallel lives and 5-6 saprolings, and you can probably kill a person.

Note that this deck is LONGRANGE - Good for longer EDH games, but too slow for nearly every 1v1 matchup.
